새로운 앱 나왔다고 깔면 좋다길래 깔았더니
티비랑 연결 먹통 나오던 소리도 안나오고
재부팅하고 앱이랑 연결 끊고 스싱이랑 붙이니 다시 잘됨
이거 나오고 빅스비도 없어지고
스피커 바에서 말하는 기능도 사라짐
왜 잘 쓰던 있던 기능을 없애고
더 불편하게 만드냐 다시 되돌려 놓아라

Never able to get this app to work

I’ve never been able to get this app to properly connect to my new Samsung soundbar, model# HW-Q990H. Initially it would not connect at all. I waited a few weeks and later re-download the Samsung Sound app again. This time I was able to get the app to recognize and connect to my soundbar, but even after a connection and streaming music from my iPhone with Apple Music app through Bluetooth…it would not let me control any of the settings on my Soundbar and still acted like it did not recognize my soundbar. Don’t waste your time trying to use this app. Use the Samsung “Smart Things” app instead which will let you manage the settings on your Soundbar and other Samsung devices.

Soundbar starts disconnecting audio now and must reinstall old app to change device settings not in this app like sleep settings.

Surround speaker setup missing

The settings to configure surround speakers as front / rear ( private / grouping ) is missing here but available in smart-things. This is bad as this is app dedicated for sound devices and few settings is missing for a sound device ironically!! Also add support for Apple Watch version.

Can’t get past Wi-Fi Connect

Keeps telling me to go to settings even after making sure phone and network selection point to a 5G network. Terrible setup

Connection impossible au wifi

HW-990H l application detecte bien l appairage en bt avant d essayer de se connecter au wifi 2.4 Ghz mais impossible continuer le paramètrage.

Buggy and and a step backwards

The previous app i never had issues, this app wifi drops randomly and I have to reset the soundbar. Setup was messy and took multiple times till it somehow just stopped crashing. I hope they fix this soon

Update: still doesn’t work properly at times the arc doesn’t properly set the hdmi resulting in it just not working. Until for reset, never happened with the previous app. SAMSUNG FIX YOUR APP

Why

Have spend 30min to connect it to the app. Keeps connecting and I can see it on my BT list of devices. Forget the device and try the process again, and does the same thing. Deleted and tried again, app does not recognize it whilst it automatically registers on my BT devices. I forget it and start again and again and again, how many agains was that, surely not enough for the half hour I have spend getting more and more frustrated. It’s not the first time I am connecting something with BT but it surely has been the only one that has frustrated me to no end.

Нет связи

Саундбар HW-Q990H «не в сети», при этом он в сети. Либо региональные ограничения, тогда почему не удалять приложение из Российского апстор, либо руки кривые у разработчиков?

Why I bought more Samsung Speakers

Takes some time to learn but the functionality is unbeatable, I can only hope this app stays alive for a LONG time as I just bought some more speakers just for it!

Völlig nutzlos

Kann meine Soundbar über die App nicht steuern. Angeblich wäre sie in einem anderen Netzwerk verbunden. Habe nur ein WLAN Netzwerk zuhause und über die SmartThings App alles kein Problem. Der Datenmüll wird direkt wieder gelöscht

Things not working

This App is better than Samsung Smarthings if u want to manage just your Samsung audio device.
But signin with Alexa doesn’t work, it keeps spinning. I have Alexa app installed in my phone but not working.
Also would be nice to have a button to quickly speak with Alexa.

Intermittent. Sometimes connects but most of the time it disconnects. SmartThings has no issue

Unusable

The SmartThings app always worked fine with my Q990F. It recommended I use this new app. Now it wants to re-setup WiFi for some reason and errors out and can’t connect. Says to remove from Bluetooth settings on my phone, but it’s not there. Now my sound bar is freaking out with the WiFi connection which was perfect before. I’ll just use SmartThings until this app actually works. Maybe I’ll try to factory reset the sound bar and add it again.
