Great way to commute!
Love getting to SF by ferry either for work or play. Instead of being stuck behind the wheel for hours, I can use the time productively and quickly catch an Uber wherever I need to go. Great way to get there!

Useless
Can’t purchase tickets on app. Takes you through endless loop of collecting payment information but not letting you select it to buy tickets. Apple Pay fails every time.

App doesn’t work at all, can’t use Apple Pay to buy tickets and when I try to just add my credit card it won’t save the card. Hope paper tickets work because I’m buying for my kids too so this not working only leaves me with that option. Terrible!!!

Tried adding several different cards to purchase tickets and they don’t save. Waste of time guess we’ll see if they still do paper tickets!

SF Ferry is super duper !
Best way to cross the bay
My husband and I started using the ferry as a getaway day and fell in love with how easy it was! Now it’s our preferred method of going to the city for anything.
No way gonna use with push notifications
Requires me to allow push notifications. I don’t do that for any app. Walk away from this app. There’s other options.
Nice Ride
This is a really cool way to get to Chase Center. The Valkyries are getting pretty high demand and I think the Ferry can do a better job of either using multiple ferries like 2 a big one and a smaller since at times the tickets sell out fast especially on weekends. The staff is awesome and they definitely hype of the crowd before and after the games especially the lady with the bullhorn playing music engaging with the crowd line at pier 48. I will be happy when they open up the ferry doc that’s adjacent to Chase Center.

All my pre purchased tickets were suddenly invalid/used??!
I’m a regular basis ferry commuter and I always pre purchased a number of tickets for weeks in advance to use to commute to work. Today, 5/23/25 the app user interface had updated and suddenly all my pre purchased tickets UNUSED are suddenly invalid.
I even spoke to the boat ticket operator and they confirmed on their system that my tickets are all used. So they recommended that I call customer service to see what might have happened. I call the number that was linked on the app and the person who had helped me confirmed on their customer service system that I still have valid tickets.
I’m upset and confused. Why are your systems contradicting each other and saying otherwise? My app CLEARLY stated I have no valid tickets available even with the confirmation from the boat operator. What is the reason for this app update and why are you making valid tickets turn invalid?
If you use this app to commute to San Francisco, I advise that you screenshot all changes and save your emailed receipts. This app change is unbelievable and truly upsetting.
