Buggy
Wanted to check departure time on the next weekday from Mountain View Caltrain to Champions station. Launched maps, clicked on a location pin at MtView Caltrain. Then the app crashed.
Useless app
What use is this? The app gives only bus # but provides no other details.

Map section did not adjust for holiday schedule. The route section did adjust for this. It wasn’t clear if the times are corrected in real-time or simply reporting off the preprinted VTA schedule. I suggest getting he free Transit app which seemed to be more versatile.
Not intuitive, no onscreen help.
I’m a UI designer, but I can’t get a schedule to appear. Don’t see how to use the app. No help system in the app. Not an intuitive experience. Will revisit this review if/when my support request is answered.
Satisfied so far...
Seems to have everything I need to plan my trip. I've had difficulty figuring out how to get around with VTA so this app is a big help
What ever happened to UX
Wow clearly no UX drainer was on stage for this app. Hard to read hard to use. Don't understand the info it does give me. Also not sure this is the apps fault or VTA's but the times listed in this app don't reflect reality in the slightest way. Do something cool with my .99 ok?
Routes
I would just like to add, that this app should have the bus routes of each bus line. It would make it so much easier for all users who don't know them yet. If it would be possible to do that it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Not useful for planing trips
This app can only tell you route schedule information. It is useless if you want to know where to transfer, or if you are looking to get somewhere specific. Typing in an address will only get you a nearby stop, with no option finding out how to get there from where you are. Only good if you a very familiar with VTA routes already.

I love SJ Transit
My niece loves to ride on the bus/VTA and this app had been invaluable to me. It has a couple of bugs but nothing that exiting/reopening the app doesn't resolve. It's especially helpful on holidays when the schedules tend to vary. Thank you so much for making this app!

I have used this app for some time and been very happy… I have had a few issues that that author fixed right away… This is a very good app for the price and for what you get. Thanks.
Low offline maps resolution
Good app however I was hoping for a higher resolution for the offline maps. Even with zooming it is very hard to read the name of stations. I hope a future update would fix this issue.

The time schedules are useful and get updates.
Aside from this, however, the app has languished and it does not appear that this app will see a redesign.
I suggest VTA bus riders keep looking for another app with dedicated developers.

Tells you what you need to know, but only if you know what you need
So...if I know the route name and/or number, a potentially useful app. Going from point A to B? Good luck, and be sure you have enough of your favorite beverage and chips to offer some solace from the painful exhaustive search you'll need to make.
Does the job
This app would be 5 stars if it could map out visually the VTA lines, like many of the SF MUNI apps. Still very dependable.
Crashes whenever trying to update
Used to work fine, but now useless as it crashes after it prompts for update. It works fine on the iPad, but not on the iPhone.

Great app
But ever since this new update it won't show me any stop times for my route I use. It keeps saying no trips found

Just updated the latest update (1/6). Now the app crashes & doesn't display any bus schedules...wassupwiththat! Please help!!!
Excellent app!
This is a very well-done app. You select the route # and it defaults to giving you the arrival time for the next bus at the nearest stop. You can look at the schedule for every stop on a route or just the major stops. It's actually easier to use than their web site.
Great update
Glad to see so many welcome revisions. This was already a great app--easily worth the price. Would still love a better way to see express trains (901), but, I love the new map functionality.
