About

Before you pay for more storage, see what's actually filling your phone. Sanctum Cleanup looks through your photo library and groups what's worth a second look: • Copies of photos and videos — the same picture or clip saved more than once, including the ones messaging apps send back to you • Similar photos — bursts and near-identical shots, with the best one picked out for you • Live Photos — the hidden video half of each one, which can add up to gigabytes; keep the still and free the rest • Large videos, screenshots and blurry photos, sorted so the obvious ones come first You see every item full size before deciding. Videos play. Live Photos play. Then you decide with three buttons: Keep, Delete, or Hide. Delete goes to Recently Deleted, so you have 30 days to change your mind. Nothing is removed until you say so. Hide sends a photo to Sanctum Photo Vault, our private, encrypted vault, for the pictures you'd rather keep out of the camera roll. If Sanctum isn't installed, you'll be offered it — and Cleanup works fully without it. Everything happens on your phone. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is collected, and there is no account. Free. No ads. No subscription. Nothing to unlock. From Axiom Digital, the makers of Sanctum Photo Vault.

What's New in Sanctum Cleanup

1.0.1

September 29, 2026

Fixes from the first days on the App Store. • Photos that no app is allowed to delete (synced from a computer, or in a shared library) are now marked with a lock and explained, instead of failing the whole delete. • A first scan no longer downloads videos that are only in iCloud. They are counted, and you can check them separately later on Wi-Fi. • A paused scan continues by itself when you come back to the app, and the scanning screen says plainly what happens if you leave. • Scans can no longer get stuck on a single photo or video. • Every pass shows how far along it is.
