This is the biggest update to Sandbox yet, with two major changes. First, you no longer need a partner to take part. Each day, you can read a short briefing on the topic, rate a handful of short arguments, and see which camp you land in. At the end of the day, you can see where you fit within the Sandbox community. No partner required. For those who do want to get paired, matching is now daily. You'll be matched a day at a time instead of a full week. You can get paired any day, and there's no penalty for skipping. Drop in when a topic grabs you and step away when life gets busy. What's new in detail: • Daily topic briefings. Get up to speed on each day's topic right in the app: the background, the data, and the arguments shaping the debate. • Camps. After you rate the day's arguments, see which camp you land in. Camps go beyond left and right to capture the real spread of opinion. • Community results. Each night, see what the whole community thought about that day's arguments: which ideas resonated, which didn't, which camps the left and right landed in, and where surprising agreement turned up. Results stay available the next day, so you can check back when you have time. • Shorter, clearer Dialogue prompts. The old assertions could be a lot to parse. Now you'll expand on how you feel about one of the day's key arguments, each shorter and focused on a single idea. • Daily Chat. When you and your partner finish a daily exchange, a private real-time chat opens automatically. When you've got more to say, keep going. Same Sandbox, more ways to find out what you're missing.
