Unable to pair my clock after a factory reset and support from the company is non-existent.
Love my Sandman Doppler
I have had my unit for almost 6 years now and it’s the best alarm clock I have ever owned. The last update fixed many of the issues I had. I still use it every day
Terrible waste
What a complete and utter joke of a company & app. Technology is outdated and now the app won’t even pair with my device. I’m left with a (very) expensive paperweight.

Do not purchase this clock until the firmware is stable
My previous review was taken down. The alarms are still buggy. This is an alarm clock with buggy alarms.
This morning, the Amazon Echo alarm would not stop no matter how many times I commanded it. The other Amazon Echo in my home responded and “Cancelled” the alarm for the “Sandman Doppler Production”. But the alarm kept right on alarming!
However this alarm clock is a very good USB charger.

Turning clock into a brick
Every time a new update I comes out it screws up the clock with poor Bluetooth connectivity and impossible to reconnect to the internet. Now the clock is just an expensive charging brick, stuck at the connecting phase to wifi. Thanks PAI team!

Hi there, make sure you've upgraded your Doppler to the latest version as well. Reach out to support if you need doing this.
Difficult to configure
Extremely difficult to configure. It would not connect initially until a major patch had been applied and, should you need to change your wifi settings, it says to perform a factory reset.
You get a nice, friendly voice to help you through the process but Bluetooth connection takes impossibly long to even register and, should you come back in time to reconnect the app to it, the app cannot find it.
NOT intuitive not easy to configure and use.

Update failure
Thanks for the email and instructions. Not sure if I should be upset that the app does not connect with the alarm, or if I should just pretend it is a standard Alexa enabled, really expensive, alarm clock.

Doesn’t work
Updated. Installed new app. Followed directions. Factory reset. Unplugged. Forgot device. Uninstalled app. Reinstalled aoo. Bluetooth on phone shows connected. App does not. It took a year for this??? Worked great before update and new app.

I’m disappointed that the app is not setting alarms properly with my iPhone 12.
The app has not been updated in months. It does almost nothing. I would expect a volume control to be in the app.
The clock looks nice but still has two function buttons that do nothing. I think the company ran out of money?

Multiple Dopplers in house - hard to connect
Configuring the dopplers was a pain through the app. I have 4 of them and kept losing connection. It seems to only see 1 at a time. Hopefully they fix the app soon.

Doesn’t work
I can’t connect with my clock. I can enter the code, but about 2 seconds later connection is lost. Rebooting night devices doesn’t work, and I can’t use the clock I bought years ago yet.

Doppler is great... except for Bluetooth
Everything works great and love the Doppler clock, the only wonky thing I’ve experienced is Bluetooth connection to the app is unreliable. It should just work. I frequently experience connection issues requiring me to disconnect and reconnect. I’m sure they’ll get it addressed right now it’s an annoyance.
