Looks identical to website, few bugs
I love shopping on Sanrio.com. But I expected the app to be more fun, colorful……it feels like the website. Plus, it drags just a little. I’m sure it can/will be fixed.
Easy to navigate
I usually make my sanrio purchases through the website, but this app makes the whole process so much easier. It’s smooth, intuitive, and lets me do everything I could on the website, only faster and more conveniently. Also, the ‘Coming Soon’ tab is a brilliant feature I didn’t know I needed.

Cute app, definitely better than the website (which I can’t stand, because every time I view an item, my location is lost and I have to scroll all the way back to the top!).
Also great to see devs knee for feedback. Can’t fit my response in the survey, so passing on the message here. Please confirm receipt and I will edit the details off.
** Bugs **
1. Cart price calculation is off - seems to happen when discounts or shipping are involved. To reproduce: Add items to cart → apply offer code 25FORU → go to the next screen to view shipping cost → return to the Cart screen. Actual outcome: The sum of all individual items doesn’t match the final total. Expected: The total should equal the sum of item prices.
2. Free gift not actually free. To reproduce: Add items to cart → select a Free Gift offered at the top. Actual: The total price increases. Expected: Price remains unchanged since it’s a free gift.
3. Checkout confusion: When tapping Pay Now at final checkout, a numeric keyboard appears without explanation — the message that should appear before the keyboard is hidden (occluded by it), leaving users unsure what to enter.
4. Shipping cost shown incorrectly: For orders under $50 (where shipping should apply), the Order Overview still shows $0 shipping.
** Feature requests **
1. Performance issue: The app hangs for 2-5 seconds when scrolling down to load more items, and the lag worsens the more items are viewed. Consider preloading the next set of items and optimizing memory once viewed items hit a certain threshold.
2. Unclear list end: Because of the lag, users can’t tell if they’ve reached the end or if more items are still loading. Adding a loading indicator or a message like “x out of y items” would help.
3. More flexible checkout options: Allow users to check out only selected items (like Amazon does), or at least move items from Cart to Wishlist with a single tap.

Fun and Efficient
The app runs smoothly and I love the layout, its actually easier to navigate to specific character merch through the app as compared to the website, which usually gives me loading issues while I’m surfing. Happy to have a new app for finding all my Sanrio supplies!
Sanrio App
It was a little confusing that it said pick a free gift but when I did, it wasn’t free because I had already entered the $25 discount for using the app. So I had to start my order over several times which was a bit frustrating.

I’m so happy they have an app now! It’s much easier to use than using safari on my phone to access their website. 10/10
