App broken
When I bought this years ago, it worked. At some point they updated it and it won’t launch the content I paid for.
Some good info but needs an urgent update
The information on nursery is outdated and potentially dangerous. Babies are safest sleeping on their back - not their front!
Worst app and a complete scam
I’ve had both digi guides purchased through this app and it is no longer functioning. .. Really, it never did. The app used to show at least one guide that I purchased and now it won’t allow access to either. Complete scam and rip off. Don’t buy from this scam artist.

When I first updated my SAS Survival Guide app this was an in-app purchase, then later it opened the app store for a purchase. Now that I purchased it it opens the app store instead of the SAS Urban app, awkward.
Overall the content seems good but more topical then the Survival Guide but I have not had it long enough to give it a proper review.
I'm just disappointed that what I thought was an in-app purchase (it said it was) is actually another separate book. I would rather open one book to have the content of both.
Also, when I try to do the reverse and buy (restore my purchase) the Survival Guide from this apps in-app purchase it comes back with "purchase not found", strange and irritating.

Please get this app it's covers everything in urban survival, home security, fires, poisons, natural disasters etc and especially how to deal with terrorists attacks a must have to protect your selves and your family.....

So I bought and downloaded and, when I try to open just like the Energiser Bunny, it keeps on going, and going, and going! Please fix.
Terrible, useless, insulting
First let me say the SAS ultimate survival guide is awesome (you should buy it), I absolutely loved it so i bought this SAS urban app. With that said this application was exactly what the title reads "terrible, useless and insulting". Terrible/ useless- should be called "the common sense and obvious facts guide". Insulting- that they assume you are so dumb this information is new and useful to you. Spoiler alert: chainsaws are dangerous, you should lock your doors, bleach is poisonous and cancer will kill you. I don't know what upsets me more, the fact that I wasted money on this or that I wasted hours reading through it thinking "there has to be something useful in the next section". Again buy the SAS ultimate survival guide, its awesome and full of great information, but steer far clear of this train wreck of an app. (Luckily from this app I now know train wrecks are dangerous too)

Works on iphone 4 but not on ipod . Same problem with the original SAS app

Garbage app. Far from urban survival. Liberal progressive views & pushes global warming. This app is NOT information to help if we experience Civil unrest. This is a misleading rip off, but those needing common sense with A. D. L. May need it. ( Activities Of Daily Living)

Disappointed
Having the SAS survival guide app is great to have on hand all the time so thought I'd try this...this app is basically a guide for people with no common sense, more of a guide to day to day life. If you want an app on 'a patronising guide to living' this is for you.

I had great hopes for this app, but the fact that it will not open on an iPad is not good. I tried to leave feedback on the developers site but guess what? It didn't open, so it looks like more bug fixes are needed... Please...
Not survival. I should not have bought this.
I really thought given the content of this app they were going to go into a section on baking! LOL! This isn't survival stuff at all! I especially found ridiculous the section on "safe sex" and how "urinating on your spouse" is considered a form of "safe sex." Ok, not only is that weird and degrading but also everyone knows in a survival situation that would be a waste of good pee. Bear Grylls is not impressed.

Not worth the price
Don't spend $3.99 on this app. It's extremely vague and doesn't give that good advice. I am extremely disappointed after his SAS wilderness survival guide was pretty good but this is crap.

Avoid this app. £2.49 for outdated information and an app that is useless unless you have an internet connection to view the content! It doesn't tell you this in the description. I will be asking for a full refund!!

supports the police state
While offering much sensible advise for daily living, this is not a guide for survival. The recommendations for an urban survival kit lists items needed more if you pop a button at the theatre than getting you through an extreme event, helpful but not essential. Then there is the section on firearms. The approach taken in this section is to repeat the anti-gun mantras where advice on making personal, rational choices is marginalized. It promotes the concept that firearms will make you a victim, trust the police to protect you. Not a bad concept but not one you want to depend on in a survival situation.
Overall, a somewhat useful pamphlet addressing a wide range of concerns. Best suited for the meek.
