## What's New (1.2.0) Everything in this update came from testing the full plan, end to end, against the 2026 eclipse. Contact times, sharper. Predictions now account for the real profile of the Moon's edge, measured by NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, plus your site's elevation. Totality starts when the app says it does, to a fraction of a second. A shooting plan you can follow in the dark. One bracket setting, then a short numbered list: the base shutter speed for the diamond ring and Baily's beads, the base for the corona, and exactly when to change. Every speed listed is one your camera actually has, and the app warns you if any part of the plan runs past your camera or your mount. Bracket the contacts, or burst them. Your choice: hold the shutter through the diamond ring at a fixed exposure, or bracket it like everything else. The plan updates either way. Voice callouts, tuned. New calls for the diamond ring and Baily's beads on the way in and the way out, filter timing matched to Canon's guidance, and every callout keeps your eclipse glasses where they belong. Also: enter your elevation by hand, a battery and heat check that warns you before the eclipse would outlast your phone, full Spanish and Icelandic translations including every spoken callout, and a Done button that dismisses the number pad. ## What's New (1.1.0) Now in Spanish and Icelandic, for both landfalls of the 2026 eclipse. Spanish includes the voice callouts through totality, in European and Latin American variants. Icelandic covers the full interface (iOS has no Icelandic voice, so callouts speak English). Daytime polar alignment, rebuilt for eclipse day, when the pole is invisible. - Sight the Sun or Moon through the camera for a true heading. The phone holds it on its gyro, immune to the steel around your mount. - Shadow align: a plumb line's shadow becomes a compass-free azimuth reference, good to about a tenth of a degree. - Film the camera's screen and drift runs measure themselves, with live uncertainty, in two to three minutes. - A verify step proves the residual after you turn the knobs. - Results now speak your language: how many pixels the Sun drifts during totality at your focal length. - Flip calibration cancels the tilt sensor's bias on the altitude axis. ## What's New (first release) First release.
