Local paper
Local paper needs more local stories.
Much improved. Better rendering. Index is fast too.
Been using the reader for years. Pretty reliable. Used to have blurry pages sometimes until I reboot the iPad, but now pages render sharp. Good enhancements.

Paper needs an index for for regular columns or sections.
Better than a missing paper
Although I have a subscription to the paper, delivery has been sketchy and late when it does arrive. At least I can use the online version for local news.
Convenient to Read Anytime Anywhere
I prefer print editions, but I can easily enjoy Saturday editions while I’m out and about!
Day old bread?
The new version is a great improvement over the previous version (which often wouldn’t even load) but it needs to have the features of the WSJ app to be really good.

Great, under-appreciated newspaper!
My wife and I split time between Savannah and Boston. The Boston Globe is often heralded as one of the best papers in the country, as are the New York Times and Washington Post, all of which I read on line. But the first paper I read each day is my Savannah Morning Herald because it’s local, national and international articles are informative, succinct and every bit as important to me. I also appreciate the editorial balance of perspectives, something I can’t count on from the other papers I read. Great job!

Okay substitute for the actual paper.
I have digital only because I cannot get the paper delivered consistently. It’s okay for me, but not feasible for my technology challenged husband. Sad state the SMN has sunk to. “Stale news”. Two days post happening. Poor customer service. And almost none existent delivery service.

I am addicted to reading the comics and horoscope every morning. Love the high school football mentions of my grandson.
Old liberal news delivered late!
Weekend sports delivered promptly on TUESDAY
and news with a HEAVY Democratic spin.

A complete newspaper online
I enjoy this app format
Because it is like having your actual newspaper in your hand!

SMN digital editions
I appreciate this new version of the morning news. It is so much easier to locate a particular subject or page than the previous version. I’m delighted that I decided to try it again and am very pleased. Congratulations to your programmer.
Page navigation
Only downside is navigating page turning. First touch on arrow many times brings you to computer generated story close to the arrow that you are touching instead of turning the page of the print version.
Wish I were there
The app is better but the paper isn’t a very good paper. Now a functional app. Not much news about people like me, other than national news wire stuff taken intact.
