Great Tour!
Perfect for the pandemic when we are trying to avoid crowds. The narrative was interesting and just the right length at each stop, not too long. I would highly recommend.
“White Washing History”
This app largely skipped the multiple historical sites dedicated to Slavery in the city. In one it has Sherman’s HQ and labels the Civil War as “the war between the States,” a tell-tale of the “Lost-Cause” mythology.

Good Introduction
I had only a couple of hours to kill in Savannah, and this app was great. Quick overview of some highlights of the city with professional narration. Some of the function is a little quirky, but nothing major.
Uninformative
This app doesn't have enough information. Save your money and buy a book or get a free map of the squares when you get there.
Great way to learn about the City
We considered the $23 trolley tour- but it was 100 mins. and we wanted to walk Savannah. App gave great concise info of the history of Savannah for 8.99. Worth it!
Should be a lot better for the $
1. No way to move map info on left to larger area to right
2. Extremely short descriptions; overly relies on links to describe site. Some links just general purpose or broken.
3. No internal links to move readily from one feature to another.
4. Very limited in suggested tours. Superfluous event info.

Very nice app. Very well done with lots of information all with background music or sound effects.
Great app to see Savannah at your own pace
We have been to savannah many times and taken lots of tours. This time we wanted to walk and really experience the details of the squares. I love that you can go at your own pace. We went to a couple of the squares that aren't included on the tour and quickly saw why. The two we went to were in sketchy areas and we were glad when we got back on the app's mapped route. The info at each stop gives a nice overview without being too detailed to make the family lose interest. We did this on our first day, and then the next day we used the free dot shuttle to go back and visit our favorites again and see the museums, etc. this is the most I've ever spent on an app and it was well worth the price. I highly recommend!

Well worth it as a resource
I would agree that the map in this app is not true to scale...the distance from River St. to Forsyth Park is very deceiving. If you like to walk, it's not a big deal. However, if not, you will find yourself hoofing it much further than planned. We took a trolley tour from the visitor's center to get the lay of the city and than walked back to the places we were interested in, using the stops on this app to tell us more about the area. The information given at each stop is a broad overview of the important buildings at each square, the significance of statues in the square and how each came to be named...all backed with "period background sound effects". We are very independent travelers, preferring to see a city at our own pace so this app was perfect for us. And we tried to download the walking tour from Geogad first...which I could never get to work. This worked without freezing or crashing. It does take awhile to download if downloading directly to the device.
This app would get 5 stars if it included information on Forsyth Park, an area that I consider to be a major tourist destination in the Savannah area.

Nice audio tour
Great audio a lot of information, but the route has no rhyme or reason and is confusing if you're not from Savannah. Not all the squares are on the tour and there was nothing about Forsythe Park at all. A bit on the pricey side for what it is. You can take an on and off tour and basically accomplish the same thing without getting frustrated about what direction to go. The audio could be a little more descriptive about where to proceed from one stop to the next which makes it very confusing. I would suggest mapping out your own route and listening to whatever square you're interested in because this tour is all over the map...for no particular reason.

why aren't all the squares included ???
This is a great app except it doesn't include 11 squares.All are significant and some are very popular and should be included.
high quality and interesting
This was probably the best iphone tour i've ever done. very good material, high quality audio production and pictures with every stop. You can enjoy this while roaming around Savannanh or just sitting home on your couch. And there was so many interesting stories in the tour that I plan to go back and listen to it again.
