I am so appreciative of all the ways Saxbys services the Purdue campus! Not just the students, but the staff and guest. They have always provided excellent service.
Decent
The app functions well if you simply want to order a coffee but there are some annoying aspects.
1) The app refuses to accept any promo codes that my saxby’s has given out no matter how I enter them.
2) The app does not allow you to access the menu unless you are ordering and that aspect of the app is only available when the store is open. So if you want to look up some items on the weekend to show friends what is available you are just unable to access the menu.

Apple Pay Not an Option
Please bring back Apple Pay.
New app look
Love the new app look! Easy to use, also easier to read. I do miss the option for Apple Pay and hope it will be re-added in the future.
New Update
I used to be a long time Saxbys user. It was so easy to online order for after my class pick up, except now with the new update order ahead is impossible. Now it just spends minutes upon minutes loading each screen. Then to finally allow my to checkout but then cancel because it says no price found for item. Then the same incident I tried to redeem points and it was just error code after error code. An app that used to never fail me has now become unusable and i’m very disappointed. I hope this problem is being worked on.

Miss the old version which actually worked
The new app just released January 2024 is incredibly unreliable. Multiple times after getting all the way to placing the order and have the frustrating pop up error saying to try adding a different item or try a different discount or try no discount at all… who has time for this?? Fix it or go back to the old one!

Saxbys New App
I love it! It’s easy to follow and place my orders ahead. The point system is superb!
Theft
You will place your order on the app expecting to pick it up ahead and they will never make your coffee unless you complain. For some reason the orders never reach the store but they can easily take your money. Be careful.. they are stealing from customers.

App is convenient, but has a few user issues
I like using the Saxby’s app to order my coffee on-the-go. However, it is a little cumbersome to use. First, all drink orders have a 0.00 price on the main page. You can only see the prices when you click on the drink to customize it. It would be more convenient to see the prices before you click to save time. Second, customizing drinks is a hassle. There are multiple tabs for sweetness and milk. Milk has to be selected in one tab and then the quantity is in another tab. Clicking on a sweetness option requires unselecting the “unsweetened” option, which is not difficult, but a little confusing when the app doesn’t let you purchase your order because of that little error.

payment processing doesn’t work
big issues with the payments on this app. wont accept my card, then when i try a second it says “too many requests.”

Never lets me make an order
I have made several attempts over the last few months to order from the app as is the entire point of it but every time I try, it says my selections are invalid once I try to add them to my checkout. You’re losing money & customers by not making sure your app is working correctly.
Needs one improvement
This app is great, but the tip options should be updated. It gives you the option of 0%, 1%, and 2%. I wish it was 10%, 15%, and 20%. I’m embarrassed to leave such a small tip and I don’t usually have cash/coins to drop in the tip mug when I pick up my “got up too late to make breakfast before work” order I place from my phone on my commute.

Messed up online order
Didn’t have my receipt under the cup when I was picking up. Asked about it (for work expense reimbursement) and it was taking forever to print one and even then found out it would’ve been a “dud” receipt. I declined and left. As I started drinking it, realized that they didn’t even make the order right because they had lost the paper that had the order on it.

Nice coffee app
I would give it five stars if you could include tip option on order ahead orders
Great app! Would be better with tipping.
Would love to have a tipping feature so I can reward your great team members even when I don’t have cash.
New app is worse than before
Saxbys re-designed their app this year, but unfortunately introduced a lot more bugs that have yet to be resolved. The app wasn’t perfect before, but at least it was somewhat organized and functional.
Rewards program is a joke
Title says it all. Love saxbys, but the app is incentivized poorly. Yikes
Worthless
If I cannot earn rewards when I pay with cash or even if I use a credit card separate from the app, then I will never return until this is fixed to make it worthwhile.
Easy, quick rewards
This app is really easy to use, the home screen is the QR code you use at checkout, it’s large and clear and the reader rarely takes longer than 1 second to pay, plus the rewards happen really fast just $20 gets you a $2 reward which is easy if you’re getting coffee before work 5 days a week
