Shockingly bad app, worse support

A reasonable concept but very badly flawed. Available pieces are a small subset of the exam pieces, and even one of those in Grade 1 is not purchasable. Bundle purchase option disappeared and restore function does not work. Difficult to see how it could be made it any worse but they did! In app link for contact doesn’t work and even the one in the App Store fails. Contacting ABRMS directly via their website and contact form and even phoning them failed to get any response… I gave up you shouldn’t even start.

Waste of time

Downloaded all of the grade 5 pieces for 2026, well I thought I had but sadly the money has been taken but the pieces are not in the app!

Stopped working

I downloaded this app and then downloaded the two songs for my grade.First it wouldn’t let me buy the second song so I only had one of my pieces, and then the hole app stopped working all together.I re started my phone deleted the app and everything, just was not working.A shame though because otherwise I thought it was helpful when it worked.

I can’t use my pre-paid code

In my saxaphone grade 3 book, I have an audio download section at the back. However, this app will not let me type in or scan my code, which makes this app useless

Hi TimmyBrawls, thank you for your comment. Saxophone Practice Partner uses custom file formats that provide separate playback of the melody and accompaniment parts. This content is more feature-rich and uses very different technology to standard audio files. It is only possible therefore to buy these specialised Practice Partner pieces from within the app via in-app purchase. The audio download code in your saxophone book is a different product. We are sorry that this information perhaps does not provide the response that you may have been hoping for, but we hope that it clarifies the nature and scope of the product.

How do you use the code on the book to redeem a song?

It was all going well until I realised that I couldn’t redeem the code at the back of my grade 5 sax book
