Tool

Great tool for learning and remembering the fretboard

Free?

This used to be free. Now it’s not 🤦‍♂️👎🏻

Endless practice

I use it all the time for so many different areas of my development. Indispensable! Thank you

100% Recommend

I both an electric and acoustic guitarist and I use this all the time!Going and searching the Internet for certain scale can take forever but here you can put in exactly what you’re looking for and it pops up. I use this tool to help me memorize the entire front board and all of the scale patterns super useful!

Awesome

This app has taken my guitar playing skills to new levels. It opened up the whole fretboard for me absolutely amazing

Simple and useful

Intermediate guitar player who never learned scales or exercises. So far it’s very simple to use and fun to practice

Money Grab

Another money hungry developer. After paying for a “lifetime” subscription years ago, now they want a monthly subscription for the “max” features of the app. This society of subscription based services where everyone is searching how to get another $4.99 a month from people is disgusting. You will own nothing and subscribe to it for $12.99 a month (ads) and $19.99 a month (no ads) plus get an email every few months quietly notifying you the price is increasing. Pshhh. Kick rocks!

Great app!

I use it all the time.

The tools are fine but Subscribe with caution…

I have been using these tools (ChordBank, ScaleBank) at a premium level for almost three years. When I posed a question about access to the “All in” subscription model I have been ghosted by the Better Notes support team. Three messages over the last two months without reply. Contact support before subscribing.

I have all of y’all’s apps and I love them they are the best but can yall add a bass bank to your list of apps

Scales

Why separate the scales from the chords? Profit?

Perfect

Awesome
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

you HAVE to PAY to see the scales

you gotta actually pay to see any of the scales of which ig i’ll just be searching online for. big let down

Used to be able to use all the scales but now you have to pay

I’ve been using this app for about two years now and I go on it today and I can’t look at the skills. I normally look at I can only look at the three major ones big problem I’m deleting.

My favorite practice and reference tools

The more I learn guitar, the more I realize this app has to offer. There's no piece of gear you can get that will improve your sound and playing anywhere near what practicing using these tools will do.

Great App!

If you’re familiar with the Guitar Grimoire Black Book, then you’ll feel right at home here. I love this app better because it gives you practice drills, backing tracks, and allows you to see the fingerings, notes, or intervals (whichever you prefer). It’s also good for both righties and your weirdo friends.

I sort of feel that the annual $29.99 sub is rather steep, as it appears that there aren’t any real substantial “updates” or new features that keep the app fresh; this may or may not be a consideration for you.

Overall, I love the app on my iPad, but I’m not sure if it will be as great on the iPhone’s smaller screen?

Good way to practice scales.

A good way to practice scales. I look at it all of the time.

I’d rather buy then rent

This is a pretty good app (the parts I can access for free, that is). The only criticism I have is that the Acoustic guitar sound isn’t that great, but that’s a low level issue.

I’d really like to make use of some more scales but I just don’t want another subscription in my life. I’d happily do a one-time payment for separate sections.
