Not bad

Could really be levelled up if the Circle showed minor and diminished chords for each scale. It’s been improved but would still like M m dim on the scales wheel. The chord wheel is not readable where note degrees overlap chord names

So helpful!

It’s great to have such a helpful tool with a clear interface. At my request, the developer just added scalar numbers to the wheel. Thanks!!

Waste of money

I had bought the app in 2024 for a one time fee just for them to lock pretty much all scales behind a subscription. Don’t help fund these people. Every thing was available before they changed it to be subscription based. Now I paid money to not get the product I was promised. Such a scam

Not bad

Could really be levelled up if the Circle showed minor and diminished chords for each scale.

The piano version too limited

The app has good features, but the images in the App Store only show the guitar view. The piano view is way more limited. Only a few scale options, but the guitar view has way more. If the same interface & features were in the piano section would have given 5 stars

App said it was 2.99 charged me $19.24?!

Not sure that is going on there, but I’ve not looked at the app 2 seconds and already not liking what just happened.

Beautiful interface but very limited

Unsure why you had to limit the chords for piano, but not guitar or bass.

Could have been a good teaching tool and resource.

Pour débutant

Pour débutant only

Doesn’t actually use the power of the circle. What a waste

Why not expand the circle and show the relationships of the notes? Cool
UI but falls b…(flat)

Best app for writing music!

Best app for writing music, or even just following proper chord progressions and all

Please add melodic minor!

I love this and its teaching me to see melodies within the construct of the circle, but i really need melodic minor. If there were a major update to this app, it would be amazing if that could include the modes of harmonic minor and melodic minor as well.

Pretty great app

Love this app but I wish there was a print option

Only major scales???

Where are minor scales shown? Very strange…

Response from developer

hello, you can change the scales by clicking on the scales menu. regards

That fix the sound issue :)

This is one of the best devs I have ever dealt with. Literally responded to me within minutes.

The sound issue has been fixed, thank you very much for that. And thank you for reaching out to me on here I’m sorry I missed your previous message.

Have a great day, and thanks for the amazing scales app.

Unusable on iPad.

Downloaded and tried to use it several times, but whenever I try to change root notes the screen goes blank. At least it was free, so...there’s that.
Update:
Developer asked for a response with no obvious way of doing it without joining LinkedIn, so hopefully this will do.
My current iOS version is 13.6.1

Sehr ansprechende App.

Die Pro-Version war heute in 'AppsGoneFree' ein Angebot. Für Anfänger, die wissen möchten welche Töne zueinander passen eine perfekte App (da auch jede Note bei Berührung angespielt wird). Empfehlung!

Musically wrong

B Major does not have D flat, or any flats for that matter. Identify notes by their correct names, and call them that. As a music educator this hurts my soul.

Keyboard is off.

When I start the G scale the keyboard shows a C note as a start. This is not good.

Works very well

This is a nicely designed app with a clean layout. It shows scales and modes in every key with the circle of fifths on top and a fretboard or keyboard below showing scales and modes. Works great for me. There are no ads at this time, which is appreciated.

App crashes if you try to do anything

I initially gave this 1 star because you Couldn’t do anything other than look at the initial screen. App would close out as soon as you touched anything. After upgrading it works great and does what it’s supposed to.
