Product works horribly
I have tried unsuccessfully to get help on two things.
(1) First I can’t get rid of the question mark in the middle of the screen . They keep telling me the same thing. To delete and redownload but all it does it redownload the already purchased app. There is no way to get rid of that.
They need to make the app update-able from within the already downloaded app.
(2) The scanner only works on large print fonts. it has to be the exact size to work effectively.
Note: So in essence i wasted my money on this crap product.

Misleading
Be aware that the app cannot connect to Desktop. Nor can you connect to Word on your mobile devices - the marketing is very misleading. The app is also very flaky and requires regular restarts. It’s editing functionality is basic. The pen itself works well.
The App is BROKEN!
I’m sure from some videos you guys know the potential on how GOOD a product like this CAN be. But as the old saying goes, if it’s too good to be true, it MOST likely is.
I have a 2021 iPad Pro running the latest iOS version as of the time of this review (iOS 15.5), it’s connected to the internet, and when I tried to pair the Scanmarker Air with this app it straight up FAILS and gives me the following error:
“Internet connection appears to be offline, check your connection and try again”
I ALREADY AM CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET! I needed to, to download and install the app. As with previous negative reviews I KNOW they’ll put in some ***generic apology*** response. But DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! I’m going to try the scanmarker reader. But if it gets me the SAME result as this product, I’ll do everything in my power to let folks know to consider buying another product.

A poor design and disappointing user experience
Scanmarker like to tout themselves as ‘leading the market’ in these line scanning solutions. At the same time, I can tell that they couldn’t care less about their users (at least not the ones with Apple devices). Their applications for iPadOS and iOS are badly designed visually, with elements jumbled at the corners and going off screen. The workflow design of the applications is very poor, as is the integration with other applications and other parts of the OS. You can only scan to the Scanmarker application itself, and then only share to a three third party cloud storage providers (not even iCloud). Scanmarker and Topscan should be ashamed of themselves for placing this atrocity on the App Store. Pull your socks up and make something decent that leverages the technology that Apple has made available to us.
