Great App for keeping track of equipment
Scannable is a great app for keeping track of rescue equipment and work at height gear. We have multiple sites across Canada and scannable makes it is easy to keep track of where the gear is at. They are also really receptive to feedback and are constantly making improvements!
Finally, a PPE app that actually makes things easier!
Scannable has changed the equipment management game. Inspections, inventory tracking, all of the stuff that used to take ages now can be done in a second. Equipment recalls are so much easier too, no more digging through kit bags and manually checking each item’s serials. If you’re not using Scannable yet, you should be.

Amazing tool for work at height gear tracking!
Scannable is such a great app! As an arborist I hate paper work. All the time I would take entering an insane about information to correctly track and inspect me equipment, is all drastically reduced with the scannable’s super clever database. Scannable is light years shared of any other company trying to solve a similar problem.

If you work at height or even just use PPE then you need this app. Managing inventories and inspections for a range of kit from a range of manufacturers is easy and effective with scannable. Plenty of brand specific solutions but if you use gear from more than one manufacturer (and who doesn’t?) then this is the app for you.

Literally! This is the sort of thing I never really knew I needed, but once I used it I realised I couldn’t live without it. Huge shout out to the developers who have put their time and effort into this, they are superstars.

Someone finally got it right
3rd go at digitising our equipment register and these is perhaps the 1st one ever that’s faster than 2 people and a spreadsheet
Solid foundation but needs more.
The search function and auto population of instructions and information is really good. The nfc tags seem high quality and work really good. So the core tech is ready to go. The app though appears to just have each item out in a master list with no way so sort gear by building, truck, compartment, and bag. As an equipment manager, having that structure of inventory location seems ideal. If this app had ways to add trucks and compartments and organize inventory on top of the inspection history I think it could be the best app on the market. But as of not I’m not sure how I would integrate this without using 2 apps. One for inspections and one for inventory.
