Best Financial Institution Ever!
I am very pleased to have SchoolsFirst as my main bank. No other credit unions or big corporate banks beats the 6.5% of SummerSaver account rate. I can see my money grow monthly as I save and use my credit card. The great part is that I could the extra money for traveling, home expenses and emergencies. I should have known better, SchoolsFirst would have been my bank from the very start of my career as an educator.

I love my bank
I have been banking here since I was 16. The best customer service in the bank world
It works, but expect a lot of bugs
I like this app, it’s a fairly decent banking app, but the amount of bugs and fixes are frustrating. Currently there’s one that won’t let me adjust my message center and I am receiving a notification repeatedly every 2 hours on my phone letting me I know I got paid.
There was also a time earlier this year where the login system broke and of course it broke on the first of the month when rent is due.

Login unnecessarily difficult
The login process can be unnecessarily complicated, but I’m sure that’s for security reasons. Otherwise a good banking app.
Greatest invention of All Time
The SchoolsFirst Credit Card app is honestly one of the most incredible things ever created because somehow it manages to take something as boring and stressful as managing a credit card and make it ridiculously simple, convenient, and satisfying. The second you open the app, everything you actually need is right there in front of you without making you dig through twelve different menus just to figure out how much money you owe. You can instantly see your balance, available credit, recent transactions, payment information, and all the other important details that would normally require you to log into some ancient-looking banking website from 2009. It feels like the app actually understands that people want to know what is happening with their money immediately, rather than making them hunt around for basic information. Being able to make payments directly through the app is especially amazing because you can basically handle your entire credit card from your phone wherever you are. You don’t have to call anyone, wait on hold, write a check, or sit at a computer just to make sure your payment goes through. The transaction history is also unbelievably useful because you can look back and see exactly where your money went, which makes keeping track of spending so much easier. There is something genuinely satisfying about opening the app and seeing everything organized clearly, knowing that your entire credit card account is basically sitting in the palm of your hand. Even the fact that you can check your available credit whenever you want is incredibly convenient because you never have to wonder whether a purchase is going to put you dangerously close to your limit. It turns something that could easily feel confusing and intimidating into something that feels completely manageable. The app also makes having a credit card feel much more modern because instead of treating your account like some distant financial service, it gives you immediate access to it whenever you need it. You can check your balance while you’re sitting in your car, make a payment while you’re laying in bed, look at a transaction while you’re out shopping, or just randomly open it because you want to admire the fact that you are successfully managing a credit card like a financially responsible adult. Honestly, the SchoolsFirst credit card app deserves way more appreciation because it takes all of the annoying parts of credit-card management and condenses them into one clean, convenient place, and when an app can make something as complicated as personal finance feel this easy, that’s genuinely impressive. It isn’t just a credit card app; it’s basically a tiny financial command center sitting on your phone, ready to tell you exactly what is going on with your money at any given moment, and that level of convenience is absolutely incredible.

I have been with SchoolsFirst for over 18 years. They are the only bank I will ever use. As far as this app is concerned I find it to be easy to navigate and it is very user friendly. I have banked with other institutions and closed all accounts. I will keep my SchoolsFirst account forever. I have been more than satisfied with their customer service and privacy standards. They remain the only institution I will ever fully endorse.
