Not Working
This app will not connect to Bluetooth using my Apple Phone. No updates for a few years. Apple should push companies to update apps in the App Store. Since Schwinn and other companies like Bowflex have merged they have all went downhill, not the products but the service.
Do not buy it. software is not updated and forgotten.
Just got the stationary bike. Was excited about the bluetooth option. Seems like Software is forgotten by developers. Not connected. No updated (since 2017 i think) what is this!?!?!?

This app does not connect to Bluetooth. I am up to date on my iPhone XR. I can’t even find a manual for how to set up manually!!
Does not work with 570 incumbent
Only works with selected few models. The 570 incumbent bike has bluetooth connectivity but does not allow an apple device to connect to it or find it? Schwinn is making this really difficult and no information on their website.
Total crap
The old Schwinn app worked great, Bluetooth always connected to my Schwinn stationary bike. Stop connecting then download the new app and now it is total trash.
It doesn’t do ANYTHING!
It does nothing at all except maybe collect your data.
Doesn’t even work
Well, just when I thought Schwinn products couldn’t get worse, they did. The old version had issues but this version doesn’t even work. It won’t connect with the bike and there are no options or settings to choose from. Another Schwinn disappointment.
Doesn’t connect to Schwinn 170 bike.
I recently purchased a Schwinn 170 upright exercise bike. This app says searching for console but can’t find the bike to make a connection. I tried connecting by cables. App still won’t work. This is a worthless app. Why doesn’t Schwinn fix it?

The app is unable to reach a connection with the console, although my Bluetooth detector indicates a strong signal from the console.

Excited to see a bluetooth connection for the Schwinn 170 we got. Oh but sorry the app listed in the instruction book doesnt exist anymore and the new one-star app doesnt support but 4-5 machines. Pretty good
Schwinn Trainer
First of all, the instructions say to look for an app named Schwinn Trainer. No such thing. So, I downloaded Schwinn tools. Second, it doesn’t connect to BlueTooth. It doesn’t show up in my settings. No light on the bike turns on for Bluetooth.
I guess I’ll see if I can get a human on the phone. (If I can find a phone number.)

Monkeys pounding on keyboards would work better
This app won’t recognize my Schwinn ic4 bike even though the peloton and jrny apps recognize it. I think schwinn should fire whatever 3rd world country app developer they hired to make this and instead hire 50 monkeys to pound on keyboards. They definitely would get a better app and it might just be entertaining to watch.

Does Not Connect
You would think a HUGE corporation like Schwinn would have an updated app that works better than the older app, but NOOOOOOOPE. Don’t get a Schwinn. It does not connect.
No Bluetooth
It says it has Bluetooth connectivity to the Schwinn Trainer app. That app does not exist. There is a Schwinn Toolbox app but it won’t connect to the console. So what is the point of Bluetooth that doesn’t connect to anything..
Don’t Download
It is outdated and even the “support” links open to “Page Not Found” - clear enough sign that the app is defunct.
Get Explore app (Nautilus) and be prepared for probs still on connecting Bluetooth - the device does NOT discover the bike (Schwann 170).
Methink subscription is needed on Explore app to go beyond just using free videos…including connecting Bluetooth.
Shame shame! Don’t tell me the bike has Bluetooth then fail to include “for subscribers.”

Not this app- use Explore the World
Downloaded this because I thought it would help me connect to my Schwinn 170. It did not. However, hunting through the reviews I discovered a different app. The “Explore the World” (it’s yellow and kind of looks like a backward 3) app got me connected to the Schwinn 170. Hopefully others see this and it helps.

I'm writing my 1st-ever negative review. Don't waste your time with this app. it will not connect to Schwinn equipment as promised. I followed the indoor bike manual, wen to the Schwinn support website, and called Schwinn. Nothing works. If you want to connect an indoor bike to your iphone, you'll need to try a different brand.

I can’t connect to via Bluetooth anymore. Useless.
Doesn’t support all products
I bought a Schwinn 470 elliptical, and the Bluetooth feature is completely useless because the machine requires an app for Bluetooth tethering. The problem is that they released the app with no support for the 470 elliptical (current production model). What a joke
