- Fixed a WatchLink Pod connection bug from the last update

User reviews

Great when it works

I've had both the usb and pod for a few years, and while the usb is reliable, the pod being used with a Karoo bike computer became highly unreliable. It would often never connect even after restarting the app, restarting the bike computer, connect from my watch, connect from my
phone, reconnecting to the Karoo, or it would just come in and out of connection through the ride if it did connect initially. After reaching out to support, they said it might be too far from the head unit, which ignores the fact it worked reliably for a long time, and also curious they'd sell something potentially unable to hold a connection regardless of where it's stored on a bike. After so much troubleshooting, too many rides without heart rate data, and support unwilling to resolve it.. i'm done. I get there's a lot of complexity trying to get all these proprietary connections to play nice together, but at some point it's just not worth it if it doesn't work reliably.

Love it!

I went from a Garmin watch to an Apple Watch. I hated the Garmin but started sweating when I realized it was no easy feat to get my heart rate incorporated into my Garmin Edge cycling workouts. The Watch Link is great. I put a rubber band through the little handle on the POD and keep it attached to my Edge when in the house so I don’t misplace it. I toss it in my handlebar bag when riding. I just have to start a Watch Link workout on my watch and I’m good to go.

Best App for NordicTrack Rower & Treadmill

I have the RW900 Rower and Commercial 2450 Treadmill. This app and USB are the best solution if you’re looking for an easy, foolproof way to connect your iWatch to your equipment.

Not working on IOS 26

Unfortunately, the app on the Watch is no longer working after updating to iOS 26. It crashes right away. It would be greatly appreciated if you could fix this issue.
