Not for Apple TV
Doesn’t operate at all. Downloaded to Apple TV device, linked to subscriber no problem, app loads but no maneuvering inside app. App works in Roku, just not with Apple TV and that’s what I use.

I’d pay to have ad free but the ads are ridiculous. if i watch a program 1/4 of the way. i go 2 another device and watch some more, with more ads, go back to watch on the original device (the one where i watched a 1/4) and it starts at the 1/4 mark making watch all the same repeating ads. than this new update added some changes to fast forward and rewind. you hit ff or rew and it just sits there. i beta rest many apps and guess they don’t beta before releasing.

One of my favs, but the app won't open
I downloaded the app, and got past the permissions, then it gets to linking your provider -and it freezes? I tried deleting it and installing it again, and the same thing happened! I don't know what the app is like, it won't let me in?

Taking away shows
My discovery+ subscription used to cover shows like Expedition Unknown. Halfway through season 12, I have to now download Science Channel and upgrade my Hulu Plus subscription to include live TV if I want to watch the only show that I had a discovery+ subscription for. This is ridiculous and ill go torrent the shows now and get them for free. Discovery is awful and all of the shows they have taken away makes paying for discovery+ completely worthless.

Too Many Ads
I don't watch them, and the ones I do catch I add to a list if things to never buy 😁
Terrible
Won't let me watch without signing in with my provider. The only major one they don't have which is Dish Network. Update: 12/15/2018. Finally added Dish Network yay!
Junk
Garbage. Since recent update it tells me network not in my tv package. It is. Works great on my android phone, not on my IPad. I pay a premium to my tv provider to get science channel specifically to use science channel go. Unloading and reloading doesn’t fix it either.

Don’t try to connect to Chromecast
Don’t try to connect to a Chromecast. If you do don’t nothing will work anymore. You can’t restart, no 10 sec skip. And likely it’ll soon stop altogether.

I’d love to rate this app higher, however it’s utility is greatly diminished for people who like to multitask while watching TV as Picture in Picture isn’t supported…

This is by far the worst video streaming experience I’ve ever had.
I guess the app technically functions well, but it is absolutely packed to the gills with horrifically long and often repeated ads.
A 40 minute video has, and I kid you not, 13 and a half minutes of ads; usually the same 5 ads, too, just to rub salt in the wound.
Considering this is a paid service, that is an absolutely, unacceptably, asinine amount of ads per video.
Don’t waste your time with this garbo.

Greatest app ever
Love this app has the greatest shows free to watch.
ios 15.2.1 bug
I’ll change my review back to 5 when the chromecast bug is addressed, as all my other apps continue to cast fine, except for this one. Restarting both devices does not work, and even a reinstall of the app failed to fix the issue. For some reason, the science channel app no longer detects my chromecast.
