Cool and fun
This works. Select “choose” to choose a photo from your library. Or “take” to take a photo. Or “ live” to manipulate whatever is in front of your camera. Then hit scan and move your tablet or phone around to manipulate the image. You can then save it to your library. You can also rescan images and make them even more wild. And you can play with different settings for slightly different effects. I am using these as inspiration for abstract paintings.

One of my favorite on the go creative apps as a photographer
I have yet to find any other app that does distortion scans like this one. I use this all the time when I’m feeling creative and want to have fun experimenting with my photography. I love how many features are included that produce unique results. There could obviously be some improvements in the UI but it still deserves 5 stars for what it’s capable of.

Don’t trust the low ratings
There’s a bit of a learning curve to using this, but once you figure it out it’s fantastic. I recommend this for designers looking to do traditional scanning manipulation who don’t have access to a scanner.
This app is sick
Wow, a free app that doesn’t have ads, is incredible we made, and does what it says it will do. What’s not to love? I would pay the dev for their efforts if I could.
