Family Calendar
This is perfect because everyone can check the family calendar wherever they are. Having 4 active teenagers with work and life this calendar makes it seamless.

I have 3 teens & was in desperate need of a calendar to organize our lives that we could ALL see & edit from our phones - & I HATE Go0gle calendar!
I tested out every single family calendar in the App Store & they were all too complicated, too expensive, had too many features, or not the features I wanted. And then I found Scoot! My family of five has been using it now for five months and we are all SO happy with it!!
Things I love about it:
* color coding for each family member
* shareable to all family members’ phones so we can all access & edit
*ability to have an event repeat at regular or irregular intervals, and the ability to edit just a single instance or all of them.
*Does NOT have to link to Go0gle calendar!
* Easy to use, simple visual design, does not overwhelm my husband 😆
* doesn’t include a bunch of features that I don’t want, making things messy! I just want a calendar!
*The cost! I am willing to pay for a good app because they don’t appear by magic, they take work! This one is affordable and well worth the price!
Things I do not love about it:
*No local saving of info - it does NOT work if you don’t have an internet connection. This happens to me most when we are at our dentists office and I can’t pull up the app to make our appointments. I have learned to take screen shots before we go in.
*No way to go in and filter to just see one person’s items. For example, if my husband wants to just see what HE needs to be at for the week.
Overall I am SO pleased with this app and hope it will continue to provide my family with many years of simple schedule organization!

Love this calendar app
Now that they added recurring events by number of days, this app is perfect for family use. Especially like the fact that you can get calendar notifications via text messages.
Great for busy families
Scoot has made planning & coordinating so much easier. From babies, schoolers & grandparents, we know what’s coming up, don’t miss things & so easy to use. I’m a big fan & have recommended to several friends.

Scoot review
Mostly great but sometimes randomly moves things to a different date/ dayon its own accord. That’s can be a bit frustrating!

LOVE IT
I have searched endlessly to find a calendar to my liking… until now! I have ADHD/OCD and this calendar checks the boxes needed for this hyper fixated mind! Visual stimulation is key for me, especially for my creative side. Scoot allows me to have the fun colors, organization, and has smoothness in design making navigation flawless. Well done!

Desktop option
Needs a desktop option so it can be seen and added to from there also ….other then that we love it so far
Recurring Events Needs an Uodate
I think this shared family calendar could be perfect for my family, but it is not useable to me without a recurring event based on number of days between events. Every other shared family calendar that I looked at in the App Store has this feature.

No widgets?
I find the app super useful to keep track of me and my wife’s work schedules and events. However, i purchased the subscription and am not able to use all of the features. More specifically, the widget feature. I would like to add a scoot widget to my home screen but its not working :/.
Sign in impossible
This seemed like a great app- it wouldn’t even send a link to my email after multiple attempts and sign in was impossible. Couldn’t even get in to try it.
Love this calendar!
LOVE this calendar so much! Perfect solution for a neurodivergent family who will add things to a calendar and forget to check said calendar for what’s going on 😅 set up a push notification every morning for what that day has on the schedule and every evening for what the next day has and it has helped reduce missed activities/appointments so much. My husband and I can seamlessly share a calendar, get notified when the other adds something, and it is very user friendly. Love that you can color code your family members and add more- we even added family members like “soccer” so we can see the different color for activities at a glance. Only thing I wish it had was a way to import the holiday schedule but they’re easy enough I don’t mind adding them myself.

Paywalls, paywalls, and more paywalls.
I decided to install this app to better myself, and have my boyfriend able to remind and help me along the way.
It seems nice and simple on the page, but the actual app is locked behind a paywall. It is only 0.99c a month, but almost all features that draw you in such as themes, widgets, multi-colored/organized reminders or events, etc. are locked behind this paywall.
I expected to atleast have a bit of freedom on this app, but everywhere you click is a “buy here!” Add for the “premium service” of the app.
It is still a wonderful app, very appealing to the eye and not overwhelming to learn, but with this paywall it is impossible to do many of the things that are the main reason for installing the app. 🙄

SO PERFECT
This app works AMAZING I personally use it with my friend group to be able to see when we can hangout and it works great! They have tons of colors to choose from for your personal events! My only con to Scoot is that they don’t have a homescreen widget option, but that is most definitely not a need and I’m sure there will be and option for that soon!

Easy to use perfect family calendar
I have searched through many many apps, trying to find the best family calendar. All seem to have either extremely pricey monthly fees and or pull in information from google calendar or other places. Or they have lots of bells and whistles I don’t need. I just wanted a calendar that I enter all the info on my self. And be able to share the calendar with my husband! I like the color coding for different family members. The list view, month, week or day view options! It’s simple and inexpensive and that’s what I want!!! The only thing it doesn’t have is the ability for the calendar to rotate when I turn the phone. I really would like a horizontal / landscape view option. Over all it’s a fantastic app
