I started investing in real estate years ago and my scopes consisted of spreadsheets and a lot of headaches due to missed items. Investor and contractor
I’m a real estate investor and also a contractor. I’ve made a lot of money flipping houses but I have to say that they were between 2017 and 2022. You could post a house and have everybody over bid just to get it at that time. After that, my luck wasn’t so good. I quickly realized that when we bid jobs or bought a house, we were not thinking about the scope because we didn’t have to. This led me to three very large real estate losses and a contractor disappearing with over $30k. Once I started using this app, I feel much more confident that I can purchase a house for the right price based off of the scope of work and the communication between me and my contractors will be very clear. I’ve already done a few scopes and it is working beautifully. I love being able to walk through the house and have the app up while i scope the work as I’m seeing things.
