Issue w getting started with app

After my email was verified, the login still was not accepted.

How to create account

I'm having problems creating an account how can I get an account

Horrible value for the money

The Scoutly app has everything you need but it’s better, faster, and has a more professional management team. Anyone by the name of “Caleb Rothster” is just another way of saying “a scammer.” Plus he hires influencers to peddle this pyramid scheme and push a weaker Scoutly onto the reselling community, for quadruple the cost. Everybody go get Scoutly; they are truly for the reseller community and aren’t overcharging you for this product!!!!!!!

Unable to sign up in U.K.

It doesn’t give you anyway to sign up

250,000 scans, 6 years

Still going great :)

Can't demo app

I signed up for a trial and it's a bust. I can't even sign in to the app, it just hangs on a white screen.

Keeps logging out

Keeps logging out in the middle of scanning and then keeps saying login information wrong then change the password keeps saying wrong use the correct password again and it will say this passwords previously used , it’s very frustrating and a big waste of time

Crashes

The app has been crashing on me every few scans.

No good

Paid for a monthly subscription and won’t even let me login. No error or anything just won’t continue from login screen .

Kind of scammy

Sign up for the 14 day free trial and you will have to create an account on something call threecolts and even then you still won’t have a scoutiq account. Create that additional scoutiq account and you still won’t get the free trial. They want you to pay for it. Huge turnoff this deceptive info-farming is.

Amazing support !

I worked with the support team as I’ve been learning the app. In both cases they were patience, responsive, and helpful. They stayed with me until I was satisfied. Definitely worth your time to use this app!

Started off ok.

I’ve had this app for around a year now in the UK.

Started off ok, but the last 2 months the e scores are all displaying wrong and the data isn’t correct, contacted customer service and was informed it was fixed but it hasn’t changed.

Shall be changing to a different service soon
Which is a shame because I like the app but the bugs aren’t being fixed.

Pointless

This was an insanely confusing app. First of all you sign up for scout iq and then your in some weird website of their parent company with all the products they offer - just selling you stuff! Then you can’t get into the scout in app because it says no account four. Because they want you to purchase the product before even your allowed to see the app and if it works good or not. Confusing and not even worth the time to check out further I’ll find an easier app that is simple and not so complicated to start

Accuracy and Consistency Need to be Improved

I used the app with multiple accounts for over a year until I got fed up. Live works fine and is easy to use. Database is so inaccurate you cannot trust it. If you do, you will be making terrible purchases and missing good ones.

I contacted the help about this and they said to delete the app to clear the cache. This isn’t the issue. My team would source together. Live and database scans gave very different results. I had to double check everything with live, which resulted in throwing back half of what database told me to get. This was time consuming and frustrating. There’s no telling how many good ones I missed using database. Before I stated double checking with live I was making a lot of bad purchases also.

The app is fine with live only. Database is a frustrating waste of money.

Can’t creat an account?

I downloaded the app, but it takes my to the login page and I’m not able to create an account. What is up with that. Also, seeing comments about being charged. I thought this app is to just tell you what the retail value is.

Does not work

Can’t even log in

Outstanding app!

I subscribed to Scout IQ on the advice of a number of You Tubers when I was setting up to become an online book reseller. I quickly learned that it is not only valuable for books but for anything that has a barcode. In the beginning I wasn’t signed up for Amazon so Scout IQ helped me customize the app for eBay and other bookselling platforms. When I was approved for Amazon FBA, they helped me add that to my scans as well. Their customer service is unbelievably good. They respond almost immediately. Scout IQ is super simple to use and gives you invaluable information. My subscription pays for itself within a couple of scans. I can’t see how any reseller that works with barcoded items could do without it. Plus, they give you 2 weeks free to try it out. What’s not to love?

5.9.8 Update breaks Bookfinder integration

The 5.9.8 update seems to have broken bookfinder integration. Please look into it? Thanks!

Went downhill since three colts bought the app

This used to be an app I always trusted to work. Last week I had trouble with being logged out, it not indicating the problem was I was logged out, and having to change the password to something longer. The cost me 15 minutes at the opening of a book sale with two other scanners there. The down time cost me an opportunity to make money that week. Yesterday they were having problems with extremely slow scanning. Three Colts moderates a large Amazon resellers group on Facebook. (It’s not clear the affiliation.) People were talking about the recent problems. I was happy for the information because I needed to know that it was an wild spread app issue and not a cell service problem. A three colts representative was heavily moderating/deleting the discussion because the issue was “resolved.” We’re just supposed to email support every time we have a problem and not talk about it I guess. I need something reliable and will be switching.

Awful

The app has become horrendous ever since it was acquired. You get logged out at least once a day, stuff won’t load, etc. You know, scanning books takes some speed, so it’s not too fun when you’re out on a sourcing trip and you continuously get logged out, have to change passwords, etc.
