Broken
First of all, this is a world scout organisation app and it is not country specific, so people complaining it doesn’t link to UK Scouts are incorrect in thinking it should. Secondly, OSM is not run by any official Scouting organisation, so there this app is not going to connect to it.
Now down to this app. When I first downloaded this app it worked and I made good use of it. Now, the only thing that I’ve found that does work is the link to the WOSM shop. Absolutely nothing else works. I can’t log in, every page that need to read in data either can’t connect to the server or reports an error reading the JSON file.
Don’t waste your time downloading this app. It hasn’t been updated in three years at the time I wrote this and it appears to have been abandoned.

Nothing Works Anymore
Always flashing errors and doing some weird stuff. Wouldn’t be surprised if they just shut the servers down.
Please fix or retire
Absolute shambles, unable to log in. Last update three years ago. Either update and make it functional again or retire completely.

When I log try to login if this this error “AGAithzErrorDomain error 1.” Have also seen the json error.
Is anyone looking at these reviews? It seems this issue has been going on for years, please can you fix this as it would make a lot of lives easier.

The app appears not be be connecting to the server and can’t download the “Jason file”
Can’t select the correct country because of the above although it says it has been fix in updates it appears not to have been…..

Broken and abandoned
Errors on every page. No content. Nothing works. This app seems to have been abandoned.
Disappointed
For an organisation such as The Scout Association, I expected an app that at least actually works. Error msgs all over the place, it’s just not fit for purpose.
Utter garbage
Entered correct iChain password. Error. Password reset doesn’t work. And no option for alternative login. Not fit for purpose.

Abandoned?
It looks like the app has been abandoned. The login function doesn’t work, and the skip login option, gives you access to nothing. It is a shame, since the app has a great potential.

This is a waste. Scouts are a charity and money was spent on this. Really disappointing.
A bit rubbish
This app needs an online scout manager section so u can sign in and see your child’s acct or simply the OSM needs its own app so we can have it on the phone instead of lookin it up on the net and signing in every time - I’m not very tech savvy but hope u get my drift lol

Unable to log on using the app. Not really worth using. Have to go via the website to log into OSM. Please get this fixed.

Can’t log in & can’t reset my password as when I enter my email address, I just get an error message which helpfully says “error”.
Scout leaders are pushing this as the source of all information but if it doesn’t work for parents it’s pointless.
