Just a data mining piece of garbage

I downloaded the app. It immediately wants permission to send me all sorts of SMSes that I don't want and I don't want sold to other data brokers. So I tried using one of these temporary SMS numbers and this app rejects all of those. They just wanna spam you. I get so much SMS Spam I'm beside myself. You people oughta be ashamed of yourselves. Don't use this!

Thanks for the feedback, and sorry for the frustration. Quick clarification: the SMS prompt at signup is a one-time passcode to verify your phone number — that's how we secure your account and let you log in across iPhone, Android, and web without a password. It's not a marketing list, and we don't sell or share your data with brokers, period. We do send occasional product texts, but those are opt-in and you can turn them off anytime. Temporary/virtual numbers get rejected because they often can't reliably receive the verification code, which would lock you out later. Bad data

This app shows old data and isn’t very helpful. It also shows you games that aren’t being sold anymore

How to Lose Money

The app cost $50 just to use, when it should really be free. It uses publicly available data that I found by searching “California lottery scratchers” and clicking on the first link. All this app does is reformat it. It’s not worth the fee.

Also this app showed me how terrible scratcher odds are in general (~60%).

This app is a guaranteed way to lose money, starting with the $50 fee for data that is free to access, and then by playing the worst gambling odds in the world.

Thanks for your review and feedback. You raise some fair points about lottery odds being low. However, ScratchOdds goes beyond reformatting public data to provide personalized recommendations to help you make the most of your lottery budget. Our algorithms analyze factors the public data doesn't show. You can only find the number of prizes left on state lottery sites; not the odds of winning the prizes and the best games ranked. For example, we often find games with over 100x better odds of hitting a big prize for the same cost. And you can see exactly how a mix of cheaper tickets actually gives you better chances than one expensive ticket. It does not cost $50 to use the app up front as well. We offer a monthly and weekly subscription option. We're also adjusting our pricing and plan to offer an affordable "lite" version soon to provide more flexibility. Of course, all lottery games are a form of gambling and should only be played for entertainment, not income. We'll keep working hard to make ScratchOdds as useful as possible with new features like alerts on the latest games and top recommendations. Thanks again for sharing your experience. Ive never bought a scratch off, but this app makes it easy to make the most informed decision instead of just relying 100% on luck. Really cool idea with great potential.

First APP to help buy the best tickets

I was delighted to discover this APP. I don't have to check the state lottery site any more to see which tickets are the best bets. Simple, easy to use, and even free version to check it out.

Game changing app

I never knew some games had drastically better odds than others wow!

This app is a game changer if you play scratch-offs.

I love it how I could target the best games for smaller prizes and not just the big ones.
