What's New in Screen Walk
1.2.0
October 14, 2026
• A new look. Your minutes live on a fare card that tops up as you walk. Today, Insights, Goals and Settings are rebuilt as native iPhone lists, in Light and Dark, with a new app icon. • Today shows a short journey log of your day: each walk Health recorded and each break you took, newest first. It follows your steps as you walk, with one light tap for each minute that lands. • Starting a break is one deliberate step: choose the minutes, then press and hold your card on the reader until it touches. • New to Screen Walk? Setup ends with a practice hold, and Settings has a short How Screen Walk works page you can come back to. • Emergency breaks. Need an app right now? Take a 5-minute emergency break that uses no minutes, up to three a day. You choose how many during setup and can change it in Settings. • Turning off blocking now waits. "Turn off blocking" in Settings asks you to confirm the date and turns blocking off at a coming midnight, at least 12 hours later. "Keep blocking on" cancels it any time before then. • Insights answers your finger. Drag along a chart to read any day, tap to pin one. • A monthly Card statement under Insights adds up what you topped up and what your breaks used, and shows the minutes you did not use, deposited to your Clear Head Fund. • Setup is calmer. Seven short steps with a Back button, and Screen Walk explains what notifications are for before it asks. • Your balance rolls up as you walk. Reduce Motion and larger text sizes are respected everywhere. • The screen your apps show while blocking is on now uses the same colors and words as the app.
