About
You set the limit. Your friends guard it.
When you hit your screen-time limit and want "just 5 more minutes," ScreenPact doesn't ask you to white-knuckle it. It lets you ask a friend. They can give you the time, give you less, or turn you down — either way, someone who actually cares about you made the call, not the 1 AM version of you.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick the apps that eat your time and set your daily limit — built on iOS Screen Time.
2. When you hit the wall, your apps lock. Instead of a lonely "ignore limit" button, you get a better option: ask a friend for 5, 10, or 15 minutes.
3. Your friend gets your ask, thinks about it, and makes the ruling: approve, approve less, or deny.
4. You get exactly the minutes they granted. Then the lock comes back on.
YOUR FRIENDS DON'T NEED THE APP
Send your ask over iMessage. Your friend taps the link, sees your request, and locks in their answer with one tap of Sign in with Apple. No download, no account creation, no setup. Helping you takes fifteen seconds.
NO SHAME. EVER.
ScreenPact never guilts you, roasts you, or calls you an addict. You chose the limit. You chose the friends. A "no" isn't failure — it's a friend protecting the boundary you asked them to protect. (If your friends want to give you grief about begging for more TikTok time, that's between you and them.)
YOU'RE NEVER TRAPPED
Real life happens. Emergency passes unlock your apps instantly, work offline, and are completely private — your friends never see them. You decide how many you get per week, because they're yours.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Each friend sees only the ask you sent them — never which apps you blocked, never what other friends said, never your emergency passes. No feeds, no leaderboards, no public receipts.
WHY IT WORKS
Every app blocker has the same weakness: the person who set the limit can un-set it. At midnight, alone, you'll always talk yourself into more. ScreenPact moves that decision to someone who isn't currently doomscrolling. Willpower is unreliable. Friends aren't.
Set your limit. Pick your people. Let them own your exceptions.
