Have ads after paying
I tried the game before purchasing and I really liked it but there were a lot of ads. I purchased it and two things happened. 1. It stopped offering me the extra box if I watched an ad. You say but you paid for no ads, correct but now it almost forces you to purchase tools to advance. 2. There are still ads. A lot fewer but they are still there. It is a fun game that has a great strategy but come on really, don’t take my $ and still have ads.

About "No-Ad": after purchase, mandatory ads are removed, but rewarded ads (e.g., "Watch ads for extra rewards") remain. If you still see mandatory ads, it's likely a payment sync delay. Difficulty appears to be tuned to require recurring ads/iap.
Addictive fun with long ads
This game is fun and super addictive. I had to delete it after two days, though, because it just isn’t enjoyable having to close the app and re-open it, to skip the ads between levels. That wasn’t the deal breaker, though.
To progress through most levels, it requires add-ons, that means either paying for the ad-free version (that I actually very likely would have paid, to continue playing easily) or watching an ad for another app game/gambling, etc. The ads are OBSCENELY long. Like almost 3 minutes (I timed them).
I usually pay for ad-free, after getting tired of watching 15 or 30 second ads but this is so grossly obnoxious that I deleted the app completely.
Oh, and yeah, it totally overheats your phone.
