User reviews

Fantastic tool for my set needs.

I've been using Scriptation daily since the apps beginning and it truly helps my day to day work flow. No more paper sides or scripts. The ability to make script changes and notes on the fly and being able to highlight my cast helps me as a sound mixer to match my colors to my mixers colors. Thank you for the constant updates. I'm always looking to see what's new.

Response from developer

Hi Jamixer! Thanks so much for this wonderful review, and for being with us since the very beginning. That means a lot to our whole team. More good things are on the way!

Scriptation

I absolutely love Scriptation.
Since the updates it’s just got better and better and it has streamlined our script breakdowns and other prep. The workshops are incredibly helpful and informative and the online support is amazing. I would highly recommend it.

Response from developer

Thank you for the wonderful review! The support team and workshop folks will be so happy to hear this. We've got a lot more in the works!

Industry standard for a reason

Make notes, intelligently transfer them across versions: it’s worth the subscription price for that function alone. Honestly I’m not sure how useful the AI voices are, but besides that the features keep getting better, and the support is next level.

Response from developer

Thanks so much for the great review! Really glad the app is earning its keep in your workflow, and our support team will be thrilled to see that. Lots more coming down the pipeline!

Waste of money

Worthless, nothing natural

Response from developer

We're sorry to hear Scriptation fell short for you. If it's the voices that felt unnatural, those are likely the standard on-device voices. Playback also includes AI voices that are much more realistic and emotive, and they're worth a try. And if cost is the concern, reach out via Settings > Contact Us and we'll see what we can do.

Buggy

This used to be a great App. But with all the new features loads of bugs have come in. Loads of them. Cursor randomly jumping down a couple of pages. Ugh.
