User reviews

Functional and Beautiful

I found this app on Reddit and it is the best companion app for Catholics. The ability to do the Rosary on your phone should you not know the daily Mystery or you’re not entirely sure of all the words of a prayer is awesome. I had also requested Lectio Divina, and the developer implemented it in a fantastic way.

The one knock (pun not intended) I have to give is the inability to set your own memory verses. It looks like you have to wait for a verse to show up as a daily verse before saving it as a memory. My late mother had a Bible verse in her bedroom, and I hope one day it comes up so I can add it as a memory of her.

Every Catholic serious about wanting to engage more with the Bible, the Rosary, and prayer should check out this app and see if it helps them.

UPDATE: I was able to set my own memory verse. Thank you so much, Hugo! For reference, it was multiple verses strung together so I couldn’t save the whole thing, but I saved my favorite part of it. “[Love bears] all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.” 1 Corinthians 13:7

Response from developer

Thank you so much, this means more than I can say. I truly hope your mother's verse is already waiting for you in our library. You don’t have to wait for it to arrive as a 'knock', you can find it by going to Treasury - Memory Verses - Add Verse - Library. There, you can browse by book or keyword to add verses directly to your collection. I hope when you find it, it brings her close. Thank you for sharing your story, and for praying with Scripture Knock.
