NOT the Scroll Break App
I don't know what this app is, but it did nothing to disrupt doomscrolling & never sent any messages. Given the permissions that it required, this appears to be an app that has the potential to be scamming customers for data.

? It does appear that there is another app called Scroll Break on Android, but it was launched after the original version of this app (which was first released in ~July 2025). You'll note that searching for "Scroll Break" on Android finds both that app and the Android version of this one. If you had issues getting messages, happy to hear about it, as we haven't seen any errors that would suggest that there would be a problem. But on that note, regarding permissions, the only permissions are related to letting messages get through any do not disturb periods that you may have on your phone - since it's a message app, if you're blocking messages, it's not going to get through; and if you rejected those permissions, that might have been the issue of why you didn't receive any? Regarding data, as is clearly stated on the app store listing - and is confirmed by Apple when an app is approved - we don't collect any of your personal data, we don't have any ads, we don't do any tracking of your activity. At any rate, we're sorry that you weren't happy with the app, and hope you find something that works for you!
