Good Learning Game
Love this game, super fun. Great for learning how spell. The scroodles are super fun to defeat. Love the music, overall great game
Great strategy & replayability; weird scoring, stifling monetization
I got back into this game recently and have had a blast! Getting 3 stars for all 200 levels is a real challenge, and there’s as much replayability as there are words in the dictionary. The enemies and tile modifiers are well designed, and presented in interesting combinations, requiring strategy to beat.
I do find the scoring unorthodox. You can earn zero stars, yet still win the round. The game seems to allow any word, which is nice for the player, but it means the AI can use some questionable words, too (ex. “labia”, “poo”, “gay”). So consider that before you let kids play.
Lastly, the monetization really slows you down. You get 3 lives, so if you want to play longer than 6 minutes or so, you’d better be really good, or make an in-app purchase. The game randomly chooses to offer you ads for coins, but not often enough to sustain a longer play session. I’m very reluctant to make IAPs, so personally I’d be willing to watch more ads if it meant I could play the game more.

Brain teaser
Great way to get the adrenaline flowing on a word game of all things.
Very unfair game
You only get 25 health per level and sometimes the enemy has about 40 or more. Very unfair!
Stuck on “hard”
Since the most recent updates, there are no more adds, (yay), but that also means no more free stars to buy things like shuffles or erasers. The game also seems to be stuck on “hard”, meaning very few power-ups, health, etc. Beating the “stuffed” challenge is impossible if you NEVER get health powerups, or just rarely.

Like EVER? Been a fan since 2015, but it’s never been updated. Such an incredible shame.
Great game but...
Love the characters, the spelling, the music, almost everything! The only issue is how to EARN more stars and/or shuffles. There is only one free way to get stars to have more lives. Everything is purchase. Would love to earn them and shuffles somehow or even by watching an ad. Also, Maybe create a way to boost my character? That would be fun!

Best game on a plane
I love Scroodles to kill time on a flight. With Covid and quarantine, Scroodles was a great relief. And it keeps your mind sharp

I play Scroodles every morning to keep my brain stimulated (just turned 66).
My problem is that I have been stuck on Level 39 for over a year. Even if I manage to use all my letter tiles, I can’t earn enough points to get 3 gold stars. It is frustrating! Are there any clues to beat this level???
