About

Scrumzy is a complete project management app for Mac, iPhone and iPad — and it runs entirely on your device. No account to create. No server holding your plan. No waiting for a web page to load before you can move a card. Most project tools ask you to trust a company with everything you are working on, then charge per person per month. Scrumzy keeps your projects on your own hardware, syncs privately through your own iCloud if you want it, and gets out of the way. Every feature is free to try for 14 days — AI, automations, time tracking, unlimited projects, report export, no card required. After that: $9.99 once. No subscription, ever. SEVEN VIEWS OF THE SAME WORK • Backlog — epics, stories, tasks and bugs; drag-to-reorder, tags, subtasks, comments, attachments • Board — a real Kanban board with WIP limits, custom columns and drag between them • Sprints — burndown, velocity, cycle time and cumulative flow charts • Calendar — every milestone, sprint boundary and item date in one month grid • Table — every item, sortable by any column • Timeline — a Gantt chart with a frozen item column; drag a bar to reschedule • Resources — team, time, budget and RAID register side by side: can this actually be delivered? PLANNING THAT DOES THE MATH • Dependencies and a real critical-path engine — earliest/latest start, slack, what truly cannot slip • Auto-schedule undated work from your dependency graph, with a preview before anything is written • Drag a Gantt bar to simulate a change and see what downstream work it would break • Milestones with real health — which ones are at risk of slipping before they actually do • A RAID register for risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies • Budget forecasting from day rates, estimates and logged time — always says how many items it couldn't cost, instead of a falsely comfortable number • A Portfolio view rolling up health, spend, milestones and risk, with the reason for every red dot • A portfolio timeline of every project's milestones on one board, with PDF export ON-DEVICE AI, ELEVEN WAYS Built entirely on Apple Intelligence — nothing is ever sent anywhere. Suggests subtasks, drafts acceptance criteria, proposes estimates from past work, extracts a risk from a sentence, triages your backlog, turns dictation into a structured item, drafts a charter, writes your status-report and retro narratives, ranks search by meaning, and drafts a handoff brief for whoever picks up your work next. AUTOMATE THE BUSYWORK Ten ready-made recipes — auto-move cards to Done, flag overdue work, raise a RAID issue when something slips, tag new bugs urgent — plus a custom rule builder of your own. BUILT FOR APPLE, NOT PORTED TO IT Menu bar quick capture on Mac • Home Screen widgets on iPad • Shortcuts and Siri • Spotlight search • Handoff between devices • one-way Calendar sync • daily/weekly digests • Apple Pencil sketches on iPad • full keyboard and undo, light and dark YOUR DATA, ACTUALLY YOURS • Local by default; iCloud sync is optional and off until you turn it on • Lock the app or any project behind Face ID, Touch ID or a password • Local backups you control, with restore built in • Export a project as a file, or a read-only snapshot for a stakeholder; CSV in and out • We collect nothing: no analytics, no tracker, no ad network, no telemetry FOR THE PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY RUN PROJECTS Built for the delivery lead juggling four projects, the freelancer who needs to know if a job is profitable, the scrum master running standups and retros, and the developer who wants a board that opens instantly and never asks them to log in. Start with the built-in sample project — it fills every view with real data so you can see the whole app working before you type a word. Apple Intelligence features require a supported device with Apple Intelligence enabled. iCloud sync requires an iCloud account. Calendar sync requires permission you grant, and only writes events Scrumzy created.

Big update: every feature is now free to try for 14 days — no card required. After that, one payment of $9.99 keeps it all, forever. Still no subscription, ever. A lot has shipped since you last looked: • An on-device AI assistant, eleven ways — subtasks, estimates, risk extraction, backlog triage, dictation, charter drafting, status-report and retro writing, semantic search and handoff briefs. Built on Apple Intelligence; nothing ever leaves your device. • Real automations — ten ready-made recipes plus a custom rule builder • Time tracking, feeding straight into budget forecasting • Home Screen widgets, Handoff and Spotlight • Lock the app or any project behind Face ID, Touch ID or a password • Local backup and restore • A portfolio-wide milestone timeline with PDF export • Apple Pencil sketch attachments on iPad Plus a long list of smaller fixes: calendar events now show sprints, epics and milestones alongside item dates; the sidebar and toolbar behave properly in full-screen and on iPhone; and dozens of smaller polish passes throughout. Tip for first-time users: choose "Explore a Sample Project" to load a fully-populated project. Every view fills with real data, including sprint history, so you can see the whole app working before you type a word. Found something wrong, or want something added? Get in touch — this app is built by one small team and every message is read.
