Upgrade issues
The content is top tier. However, since the recent app upgrade in 2026, I have had nothing but playback issues. The audio/video players do not play well with the iOS playback system. It does not show up with a play/pause button half the time on the lock screen or pull down menu. It also allows playback from two different audio sources at the same time rather than pausing the one that was playing. The audio will also sometimes “skip” putting about a 1 second pause in the audio about every 10 seconds. Video with audio often gets out of sync, and there is no longer the ability to skip back a couple minutes if you missed something like you used to be able to. It’s unfortunate that this big upgrade led to these new issues Please fix them. Thanks

New update is rough
Pausing or crashing every few minutes since installing the latest update. Pressing play leaves a loading wheel and never starts.
Please help - infuriating issue since update
**Update: Claude seems to think the reason this is happening is that the app is failing to properly register its audio session with iOS’s “MPNowPlayingInfoCenter”. Can you please provide an update if this is indeed what’s happening?**

I love your shows and used to love the app. Since the recent update, the app is not appearing on my lock screen or in my iPhone’s “now playing” control in Control Center, nor on CarPlay. It’s as if my phone does not recognizing it at all while I’m listening to it. This is highly irritating, especially when I want to rewind a podcast etc - I can now only do so by unlocking my phone and using the app itself. I’ve tried all obvious fixes including reinstalling the app. Help!

Bring back the skip ad button
App no longer appears in the pull down notification screen. This was very helpful to control sound while completing other tasks. App seems stable and is enjoyable for listening to baseball. Yeah I need the skip ad button back…
Constantly stoops
While the content is great, the app is very unstable. I t constantly stops and cannot be restarted until you close the app and restart. It plays for a while and then same thing happens. Very frustrating. When you look at the play button when it does this, it flashes from the play to the pause symbols.

The new app (5/26/26)
Terrible. The new updated app is worse than the last one. I love the shows and I spent hours listening trough the app since I work graveyard but with this new updated app it’s making it I won’t be listening to it anymore. There’s no app experience at all. It feels like you’re streaming it from an outdated web page. Please fix this and I’ll change my rating thank you.

I like switching from video to audio if I need. And all the podcasts are here. News is too notch.
New app functionality
Ever since upgrade while I am listening to app live on phone if I switch to another app (to see text, read mail, etc) the audio skips. Did not do this on old app
New update killed a key feature
Hi developers. Thanks for the update, but now the show (M’s game) does not show up on the “now playing” part of the iPhone. It also means that I cannot play/pause the game with my AirPod headphones. It seams like the new audio feed is acting more like a video in the background than it is an audio track.
please bring back the play pause and now playing features. It was working so well for me to listen to every mariners game…and now you are losing my business (add revenue) to the mlb app or “tune in”

Location services in CarPlay
I have been waiting for this app to work with CarPlay and am happy to see the feature has been implemented in the new update. However, it will not recognize location services during Mariner games and blocks the audio. If I open it on my phone, it works fine, but in CarPlay it’s in blackout mode.

Used to be an easy to use app but got too big for its britches. I don’t need to give more info just to use this app. Nice way to ruin an app. Probably bonneville wanted more user info to sell… deleted app… no thanks
30 sec skip
Love all the shows and understand wanting to build onto your own app and brand. One thing that keeps me from using it more is the 15 sec skip. Apple Podcasts has the 30 sec skip and as small as it sounds, it makes a world of difference. Maybe something to consider. Otherwise keep up the hard work. Thanks

Takes forever to load
We have fast internet. But, several times a week it doesn't load. So, I exit the app and have to listen to the ad again...and it still doesn't load. Usually, by the third try it does.
Unable to sign in
The app makes you sign up with Bonneville in order to access. It gives you the option to use “sign in with Apple” and then nothing happens. :-(
Seattle sports supports fascism
While the content from the stations hosts is generally good, the constant ads from the fascists in charge get over whelming. No, I will not join trumps illegal private police force to “keep our borders safe”. I will no longer listen or use this app until they rescind those terrible adverts

This is a sports station in case you forgot about it. If you want to talk politics go to another liberal/progressive station or to 97.3FM. You taking shots every day at Conservatives adds to the typical stereotype by liberals that just can’t stop talking politics unless you agree with them and if you do t then you’re a horrible human being.
