Keepsafe decided to update itself and now everything is a mess.
The whole UI changed, there’s things not in the order I left them in and I just lost thousands of photos/ videos.
I have the premium membership and had 10,000+ items backed up. But I had more than 30,000 items total. So more than 20,000 potentially lost over an update I didnt even ask for. Half of the items that are there are blacked out and say they cant be loaded.
What is going on here??
Update: I deleted a lot of pics/videos (that Keepsafe refuses to load, so I cant view them anymore anyway) but now suddenly all that space I freed up is now “taken up” although everything I deleted is still gone (not in the trash either). Not only that, it’s somehow taking up MORE space after I deleted thousands of items that would no longer load. Make it make sense!!

App doesn’t work, no support
App does not work and they steal your money. I uploaded photos and videos until I could deal with them. When I later tried to download the videos, app stopped working. I tried emailing, when they finally answered, they said to message in the app. I did, no response, no help. I emailed again, this went round and round for months while they took my money every month.
I lost them and over $150 desperately trying to get a hold of my previous videos they were suppose to “keep safe”.

I used this long ago and it worked great. Now when I have my email for it, the app won't recognize I'm adding photos or that account.

Stop uploading my photos, even though it was consistently saying they were uploaded, and it was safe to see

Good, apart from glitches that affect the upload process… I’ve lost photos/videos because of this.

Sad to say lost over 2,000 photos and videos. It underwent many updates over the years and before I unsubscribed it said I had 1,400 photos backed up but when I would try to import them to my physical phone storage it said downloading photos from your vault and would never finish downloading hence I couldnt move them from keepsafe, some forums said to uninstall the app as long as it says photos were on your cloud it was fine.. uninstalled and came back to NOTHING, An empty lot were my photos use to be. app might work if you only have a few photos but if you HAVE PREMIUM with 15k cloud storage and do store this many photos you are BOUND to lose some if not all. This is why I unsubscribed, stick to iphone icloud, or google storage for android, better off.

Lost all my video and photos. Super annoyed. I downloaded the app years ago, I saw the videos and pics for a minute and it all wiped out
New Update Not Good
I’ve been using this app since 2020, and it has always worked great for me. However, since the recent update, I’ve been having serious issues with my videos.
I currently have around 200 videos saved in the app, but now only about 5 of them are playing. The rest of them keep showing “Downloading Original” and never finish loading up
I’m very concerned about losing these videos, as many of them are important to me. Could you please help me resolve the issue and make sure my videos are not lost? I would really appreciate any assistance you can provide.
