What's New in SecureKeep
4.0.0
October 24, 2026
SecureKeep 4.0 is the biggest update yet. AutoFill: fill your saved passwords into apps and Safari with Face ID, and save new ones as you sign in (iOS 26.2 and later). Turn it on in Settings > AutoFill. Moving to a new iPhone: scan a code and your vault goes straight across, even with no Wi-Fi nearby. Or send a copy with AirDrop. For the people you leave it to: - A Start here page when they open a vault you handed over - Practice the handoff with the person you chose - Ready-to-send letters to banks, insurers and other companies - An asset list for probate, as a spreadsheet or PDF - What to do first, for the United States, the United Kingdom and India More to keep: crypto recovery phrases (never copied to the clipboard), subscriptions to cancel, professional contacts, where things are kept, funeral wishes and pet care, and a checklist of what's still missing. Also new: - Scan documents with the camera, and save photos and PDFs from Photos, Mail, Safari and Files, even while SecureKeep is locked - A widget that shows how ready your vault is, without any of your details - Siri and Shortcuts for your emergency card, messages and documents - An NFC tag for your safe that opens SecureKeep's restore screen - Your emergency card as a lock-screen image, and Show a medic - Medications from Apple Health on your emergency card: you pick which ones, and nothing is written back - Transcripts of recorded messages, made on your iPhone - Reminders to look things over, a vault health number and a yearly family review in your calendar - Quick actions on the app icon Big vaults now back up and restore without running out of memory. A backup made with 4.0 needs 4.0 or later to open. SecureKeep 4.0 needs iOS 17 or later.
