Confusing log in Glitchy as hell
Seriously, how the hell are you supposed to log in - on the app? Through MyTelus? Constant redirects that then end up with an error message about migrating credentials but that there are technical issues / for the last 3 months!? Good luck trying to log in - ask for a login link that then takes you to the mytelus portal / good luck trying to navigate my Telus @&$?! Seriously, I’d just like to turn my alarm system on and off through the app - Brutal!!

Beware of broken promises costing $$$$$$$$
Got the security system based on salesperson telling me that once the equipment is paid off after 2 year contract then my bill would drop down to $15/month for monitoring. 1-2 months later I happened to be talking to a phone rep about another issue and was told I would continue to be $75/month after the 2 year contract.
Requested to speak with a manager but they won’t do that.
Requested that salesperson be disciplined for false promises and to let me know how they were disciplined. They won’t do that either.
Don’t trust them. They’ll tell you one thing to get you to sign up and then milk you for all you’re worth without any recourse.
Sad.

Security App
Not the best security system. Will look into a different system.
Nothing works properly
Door bell camera and connectivity rarely works and takes way too long to connect if you want to answer the doorbell from your phone. Overall the application is way too complicated with various rules. The old Bell Smart Home was much simpler and actually worked.
Misleading and extremely limited experience
While Telus’s offering is based on Alarm.com platform, the app itself gives what ? 1-2 options compared to the full Alarm.com app. And many detectors go to sleep so where’s the peace of mind for intrusion detection ? Which is the basic purpose of a home security system.
Although paying the full monthly price and just to learn that even integration with Alexa is a problem. And the support is somewhere in the world, no one can really tell.
Also to make things worse, how can you explain the fact that’s it’s impossible to have chat support while this is a Smart Home connected solution.
Very disappointing experience and it makes me reconsider my complete commercial relation with Telus.

Very slow camera bad quality
It’s the worst camera it’s a very bad quality and it is very slow

Filme une fois sur deux, les clips sont trop courts et même si nous savons qu’il s’est passé quelque chose, aucun moyen de trouver les images, ce système n’est pas fiable pour le prix qu’il coûte.

Vivint app is far more superior and user friendly than this app

La caméra ne capte pas assez longtemps et si une personne est sortie de son véhicule et y retourne quelques minutes après la caméra ne capte pas ce mouvement pour voir la personne repartir
No secure home app
The app is set to have all zones and troubles by passed as a default when arming system. pretty much the same as if you left the alarm off with all the doors and windows open . Great work notsosmarthome
Laggy and slow and locked down
This app is not well optimized. And it feels 10 years old. Telus locks down the simplest things. If I want 6 cameras let me.. if they had a hard drive that everything could record to it would be WAY better but no, it only records if there’s motion. So it’s useless for anything other than someone walking up to your door.
If you are considering changing DONT.. I wish I stuck with Vivint. Massive regret and now I’m locked in…

Problemconnecting with monitoring station.

This company is extremely dishonest. The service is very poor, and there is no proper phone number to reach a real person. The automated system keeps answering and wasting our time.
I have been trying for over a year to cancel this service, but I have been unable to reach anyone. I do not recommend this service to anyone. They do not respect their customers, and both the employees and supervisors have been unhelpful and unprofessional.
My car was broken into, and the cameras were not working when I needed them most. Despite repeated attempts to contact the company, I have not been able to get any assistance.
If no one contacts me to resolve this issue, I will consult a lawyer and take legal action. I will seek significant compensation for the damages and the money I have paid for a service that did not work.
I wish there were an option to give less than one star so everyone can know how poor this company and its service truly are.

Telus home security is just a money Grab with a bunch of hidden fees. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!
So much potential
This app has so much potential. I often have a problem connecting to the camera when something is happening live so if it says someone is at the door and I go to check it out it often fails to connect. I’m not quite sure how much of this is the app or the cameras. I tried calling tech support but unfortunately they said the cameras were working well so I guess I have to then blame it on the app.

Horrible app. Motion sensor often stops working. Failed to send notifications. Sound also stops working after a few days ..

I completely appreciate the peace of mind and convenience SmartHome systems provide. And I love having control over arming and disarming my system using my phone.
Price increases
2 price increases without warning and in violation of our agreement. And a rude employee when I questioned it. I’m shopping for a new company and don’t try to say I have a contract, you violated it twice already.
