SeekPeak: Experience the Best

Ch-ch-changes! You’ve spoken; we’ve listened. Better yet -- we’ve implemented!. Here’s what’s changed: ‘+add’ button on home screen to *drum-roll-please* add a recommendation! The +ADD button will take you to the search page. Type in the name of the business you want to recommend. Once it populates, hit the ‘RECOMMEND’ button. We’ve opened the gates on the home feed. Now instead of seeing only those you follow, you’ll see all recommendations being made. We did this to make it easier to find new people and places on SeekPeak. We’ll be continuing to update the home feed, soon adding algorithms and other filters, so this is just a first step in seeing how we all play together. You can now see everyone who recommends a place, not just who you follow. Especially helpful in map view – you can now discover places having recommendations from people you don’t *yet* know, but with whom you may very well share a lot in common. Maybe you walk past a restaurant with 5 chef recommendations everyday and didn’t even know it - because you weren’t following them. Thanks to this hand-dandy update you’ll now be able to discover places which tasteful people are recommending, even if you aren’t following them. Another photo permission reminder. We’re giving y’all a second chance and have added a second photo permission pop-up. It’s a lot of new information coming at you when you first join, and we realize many of you said ‘no’ before you even knew what you were saying ‘no’ to. From today forward -- you’ll get a second chance at saying ‘yes’ to the photo permission so you can join the cool crowd in adding photos to your recommendations and setting a profile picture.
