Why won’t the settings work?

How do you expect anyone to use this app when there’s background music blaring while trying to listen to the pronunciation of words.
It’s unfortunate as I was looking forward to using this app along side my studying.

No sound

I literally just downloaded app and there is no sound. No matter what I do nothing plays. I’m pretty sure this app is amazing to use but I can’t tell because it doesn’t work for me. Ive even reloaded the app and still no sound.

Login/Signup

I have been trying for so long to create an account. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app like 10 times and even restarted my phone. My teacher told us to get the app and gives assignments from here so this is a huge inconvenience. The page where you choose how you want to sign up won’t stop loading. I’ve tried all four choices and I get the same loading icon and I can’t move on. Please help.

Please fix music on/off option

Downloaded app and enjoyed 30min of navigating through and I enjoyed myself. Went through the words of the day, recorded my voice to hear how I sounded and everything.

I log out and come back 4hrs later restart the app and there is music playing on every page through every activity and in the background of my voice record (sometimes louder)

I want to engage this app as I know it will help but the music is a bit distracting and causes frustration when trying to learn

Frustrating!

The content of the app is perfectly fine and works well when you’re using it but it constantly forgets your details and resets your account so it’s impossible to make and track any progress and so slow to be repeatedly having to download the files for it. There is no point in purchasing the upgrades because your account won’t be saved when you next go to open the app anyway.

Fix the app

I'm trying to use this app and the features work fine but everytime i exit the app it ALWAYS resets all my progress and I lose my level and all the points i accumulated. This is disappointing so please fix it

Thinking and problem

I love this app very very useful but it have problem it replay reload all time so the words i choose disapear so all time i replay words i already choose

This app has potential

This is one of the best apps I’ve ever had but there’s a few problems I’ve encountered that make this app difficult to use. When I used to log into my Sejong account after a day it logs me out. I have to repeat the process of downloading data....again. Now, my app just turns white.

App crashes consistently

The app will close down agree a certain period of use and forget your username and password. Then you just download all packages again. Strange. Should be addressed and updated!

Could be better but still worth using it

Lessons, vocabulary and memory cards (that we create ourself) are convenient.
Would be good to have the verbs at different tense when we do the quizz and in the lessons ( not only the radical of the verbs). A simple table with the radical, the present/past/future and the level of language ( casual/polite/honorific) would be VERY helpful.
When we get the wrong answer during a quizz, it would be nice to have the feedback of what was wrong and being able to see the progression each time we re-do the quizz.

Js needs a few updates and improvements.

I’d say it’s a good app but would really need some improvement. I wish they would update the app for ipad use because it is laggy. If complaining wasn’t a thing since we should be grateful of free things, i’d say that you can pick up a lot of new knowledge on this app.

Can be good but need music option Fixed!

I can’t hear the audio much because the background music is very loud. I want to buy the beginner pack with the native speakers voice but the background music is so loud that I don’t see the point in getting it until this is fixed. I tried turning off the background music but it’s doesn’t do anything. Please fix this! Also I wish there was an option to slow down the audio or speed up. It’s very fast

Can’t see vocabulary list

on the intermediate vocabulary you can’t see all the words on the vocabulary list and you can’t see the ones you starred.

Fixed Issues

I’m assuming they have fixed the previously mentioned issues as I had no problem logging in and using.

It’s a really good comprehensive app and I’m definitely finding it one of the more helpful apps for learning korean.

It loses one star for not being super user friendly.

When you search for a word (which is a tool I massively appreciate) it doesn’t seem to have an option for going back to your previous page. This is annoying as I have to go back to the home page and then click on the vocabulary page again to find my previous section.

Also the design in general is a little old fashioned and clunky. For example; the buttons to listen to a native speaker read the sentence out are tiny.

It takes a while to get used to all the buttons and options too. Each page is very dense in options and details. A simplification would be appreciated.

Regardless of these annoyances it’s still an app I’m really enjoying now I got the hang of it.
