Needs fairer treatment of staff and longer hours
We get incredibly low pay and often get booked on really short cleans with no option for overtime pay. I’ve had it multiple times where someone has bad products or wants way too much for the time you are given, and when they leave you a bad review because they don’t feel like paying they affect your score despite doing the best you can with the tools and time you were given. I often get offered cleans that will make me arrive late due to poor time management on the app - ie: cleans that are over an hour away and only being given half an hour to get there. Which again, affects customer service and your score. I get consistently very good reviews and communicate clearly, yet one person decides they won’t pay and I have to work (essentially) 6 hours a day for 3/4 hours work - because otherwise I just won’t get jobs.

Perfect
Really good app easy to use
Good tool for freelancers
I use Wecasa Pro to find cleaning jobs. There are quite a lot of assignments available in my area. The only small downside is that you sometimes need to be quick to book the listings. Overall, this is a very good app.
Terrible customer service
I am a worker and the service is terrible! It takes HOURS for a response. Also the pay is NOTHING compared to what you would earn as a private professional cleaner. I work to a VERY high standard for pennies. One of my clients paid 170 and I received 85 out of this. I understand they need to pay for insurance but that doesn’t cost over £100 per job. I am thinking of quitting - although they will probably disable my account because of this review.

Not Even If You’re Starving – Don’t Work for WeCasa
My experience with WeCasa was one of the worst I’ve ever had. In just two weeks of working with them, I have never felt so humiliated and undervalued by a company.
From my experience, WeCasa seems to care far more about protecting its reputation, keeping customers.
Customers can leave unfair or abusive feedback, and instead of properly investigating what happened, the company often offers them discount vouchers and expects the cleaner to either return and redo the job for free or accept financial penalties.
What disappointed me even more was how little understanding they showed when I had a genuine family emergency. Despite the circumstances, money was still deducted from my already low earnings.
The emotional stress, anxiety, and pressure are simply not worth it. I worked incredibly hard, only to deal with customers looking for faults where I genuinely couldn’t see any and expecting unrealistic results. Instead of supporting their workers, I felt the company always took the customer’s side.
I would not recommend WeCasa to anyone looking for a respectful and supportive place to work. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend working there even if you were struggling financially. I hope the company starts treating its professionals with the respect they deserve, because without them, there is no business.
