SeniorenBuddy – Staying Safe, Organized, and Independent SeniorenBuddy brings medications, appointments, health information, documents, and emergency contacts together in one clear and accessible place. The app can be used together with family members or entirely independently. Older adults receive easy-to-understand reminders, can organize their personal health records, and can quickly find important information whenever it is needed. Following a shared setup and with the user’s permission, family members can assist with organization and keep important information in view. SeniorenBuddy adapts to different needs and living situations. EVERYTHING IMPORTANT IN ONE PLACE • Reminders for medications and scheduled doses • A clear overview of medical, therapy, and everyday appointments • Customizable reminders before appointments • Preparation lists for referrals, insurance cards, medical letters, medication plans, and other documents • A personal health record for important information and documents • Emergency information including allergies, blood type, medical conditions, medications, and emergency contacts • An SOS function for notifying previously connected family members • Multiple senior profiles for families and caregivers • Large, readable controls and an age-friendly design • Apple Watch support for triggering an SOS alert SOS SUPPORT FOR THE PERSONAL SUPPORT NETWORK An older adult can trigger an SOS alert from the app or a connected Apple Watch. Previously connected family members are notified and can confirm that they are responding. The person who requested help then receives confirmation that someone is taking care of the alert. The SOS function only notifies previously connected people. It does not automatically contact the police, fire department, emergency medical services, or a professional emergency response center. The participating devices must be switched on and technically reachable for the alert to be delivered. Mobile network, internet, iCloud, or device connectivity issues may delay or prevent delivery. In an urgent medical emergency, always call the local emergency number as well. ADDITIONAL SUPPORT WITH APPLE WATCH An SOS alert can be triggered directly from the Apple Watch, allowing the user to request help even when their iPhone is not immediately within reach. The Apple Watch feature provides additional support within the user’s personal network. It is not a professional personal emergency response service and does not provide a direct connection to an emergency response center. STAY INDEPENDENT WITHOUT HAVING TO ORGANIZE EVERYTHING ALONE SeniorenBuddy provides timely reminders, creates clarity, and keeps important information close at hand. Medications, upcoming appointments, health information, and important contacts remain easy to access. Family members can provide support wherever assistance is wanted and has been authorized. SeniorenBuddy is designed to provide reassurance and guidance without making everyday life more complicated. IN-APP PURCHASE Continued use of the app may require a one-time in-app purchase. There is no automatically renewing subscription. The applicable purchase details are displayed in the app and in the App Store before purchase. IMPORTANT NOTICE SeniorenBuddy is an organizational and support tool. It does not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is not a medical monitoring or emergency alert system and is not a substitute for a professional personal emergency response service.
