Great App! Could Use Some Added Features
A good product! It has greatly simplified and enhanced my company’s ability to read water meter routes. Would love to see future updates to include:
1. The ability to plot a GPS point and save the coordinates to the route so that it can precisely locate a meter with GPS guidance.
2. A mic option on the “Read” or main account page so one can dictate a reading instead of typing it into the app.
3. The ability to navigate to a specific meter using the filters, then go forward or backward through the route from that point. Currently when you search via filters, you are locked into that specific account. This forces a user to go back to the route listing, resort, then choose the next meter.
Overall, the FieldLogic app is a great, cost effective method to read various utility routes. Since implemented in my company, we have experienced no issues commonly associated with dedicated handhelds. With a few extra features in the future, this already great app can cement itself as a solid, fantastic solution to meter reading.
