What's New in Sequel

2.9.5

October 27, 2026

• The people details screen has been rebuilt from the ground up for a smoother experience with a refined design. • Small visual refinements to the episode details screen. • New Trakt logo. • Fixed: Rating an item would cause Trakt sync to fail. • Fixed: Magic Lookup would fail to analyse some websites. • Fixed: Long pressing an Out Now tile would cause a visual glitch.

That Icon though

Def a great app to track shows and movies. But that app icon though. It’s the ugly duck in my Home Screen. Ugly enough to make me use another app instead.

Just what I need!

Absolutely brilliant app! Does exactly what I need it to do. It’s a great way to keep track of the TV series and movies I’m watching, as well as everything I want to watch in the future.

I particularly love being able to see what’s coming up, when new episodes are being released and keeping everything organised in one place. It’s simple, easy to use and makes following multiple TV series so much easier.

Exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommended!

Where is Sequel for Apple TV?

First, let me say that this app is incredible! It’s beautiful, intuitive and so very easy to use. I use it on my Apple Vision Pro and on my iPhone. However, I have the 4K Apple TV and Sequel has no app in the App Store that will work on it. That seems like a rather obvious omission. Are there any plans to add the 4K Apple TV? Come on folks… Port this incredible app over to Apple TV so I can use it there instead of having to refer to my iPhone to see what content I want to watch. Otherwise many compliments on this “perfect“ piece of software.

Muito bom

Uso o Sequel desde o início e sempre amei a sua simplicidade e recursos. Ultimamente as navegações de tela tem ficado confusas e meio quebradas, mas ainda não tira o brilho do app.
