What's New in Sequel

2.8.6

August 23, 2026

- Export your data directly from inside the app. - Sequel now uses Trakt’s “Dropped” status for series, which matches Stopped in Sequel. A stopped series returns to your Wishlist automatically if you watch an episode outside Sequel. - The Browse screen tiles have a refreshed look. - The Your Services preferences screen now has a search field. - The search control for Control Centre now shows the Sequel icon and names Sequel in its subtitle, so it is easier to pick out. - Fixed: Trakt sync could disconnect unexpectedly. - Fixed: Completed items grouped by year or month could split into duplicate or mislabelled sections. - Fixed: Tapping an episode in the Watch Next widget would not always scroll to it. - Fixed: Deleting an item with a long press could crash the app. - Fixed: Tapping a custom URL scheme in an item’s notes could crash the app. - Fixed: The app could crash silently in the background.

Really good app

It has free version of the application! The library is really vast and supports integration with other apps.

Great app!

Estou curtindo usar o app. Simples e fácil de usar.

10/10 Masterclass

I rarely leave app reviews, but in this case I simply had to! This app is absolutely amazing! The person developing it knows exactly how an app like this needs to work and look. Usability through the roof! The best app I've found over the past years by far!

Almost Perfect, But Could Use Some Data Help

This is the media consumption app I have stuck with after trying a handful. The UI has many options without being complex. Intuitive is the word I would use to describe it. People like to organize media differently and the develop team recognizes this but does not get overly finicky. The poster images are crisp and when you select one, the transition to the fullscreen view is smooth and fun. Recognizing that they don’t have all the details, they do a good job of surfacing other resources. I wish they had a callout to Callsheet. The main problem I have with Sequel is that it’s a bit think on the cast and crew info. I generally have to pop over to Callsheet to see actors not listed in Sequel as well as well as demographic data about them. I also which I could select a image for an actor listed and see it in a larger format. Mash Sequel with Callsheet and you have a 5 star product. Thanks for the hard work, it is appreciated.
