Better than I could have imagined!

It’s more than just a note tracker. This app blew me away. The trophies have a laughing every time. The podcast is so entertaining, my wife and I made it a thing to listen to every Monday night. It has a help chat-bot for rules, full transcript breakdown, and images based off what happened in the episode. I wish there was a way to save the podcasts so I can share it with friends and have a good laugh but overall Id give this app 10 stars if I could. Thanks for creating this.

Amazing

This app helps so much keep track of my sessions and stay organized. More importantly the support is unmatched. Fast responses to questions, always upgrading and updating

Pretty great

I really love it but I have a few nitpicks. My party is 9 players big, so i can’t scroll down on certain pages that list them like the one after hitting record. Some auto-snap-to-top feature keeps me from being able to scroll to the bottom and uncheck the last few players.

Also I enjoy the podcasts but hate hearing the tell-tale catchphrases of AI like “that’s not just X, it’s Y!” Also it’s unclear and/ir inconsistent how to close out of certain windows.

Sometimes that same auto-snap scroll issue keeps me from scrolling down to click the “submit” button when I try to make edits to profiles or AI import of the text is lengthy.

Is there a way to choose which session to use my one podcast per month on or is it always just the first session of the month?

I do really enjoy it otherwise. I like the features and appreciate the effort put into making the app.

Useful Tool

Some initial problems getting the account set up, but customer service was A+ in helping. Format for the Wiki is easy to use and nicely laid out. Excited to record our first session!

New DM but think this has to be a game changer!

I’m absolutely atrocious at taking notes and this has made my first 3 sessions a breeze!!!! I’m playing Hellfire Club with my children and wife and it’s been able to make sense of the madness and chaos that ensues!! This so far has been incredible and look forward to utilizing it to its fullest extent!!

GAME CHANGER FOR D&D

was looking for something to help keep track of what happens in our campaign because none of us really like to take notes. This app provided more than I expected! it’s very easy to use and I just found out that it’s one person who basically runs the whole app and they do such an amazing job getting back to you and helping! i highly highly recommend you give this app a shot for your next session! seeing all the achievements and little tidbits throughout the campaign and brings me so much joy

Perfect addition for our 4 year D&D group

Our group has loved this app so far! It’s awesome for taking notes so all of us can enjoy and be present while playing. The summary is also perfect for recapping us next session so we all know where we left off!

Bonus: we have started printing our own t shirts with the badges/achievements we earn throughout the campaign which adds lots of humor and continuity.

Best Recording app for TTRGs

Best app for tracking campaign progress. The podcasts are amazing and my players love the portraits and achievements

Unreal

This is the best thing for tracking sessions. I used to write recaps. Now I get them in detail without having to remember every last detail of each one. I can run back the transcript and find what we discussed. 10/10. The only thing I’d love to add would be quotes from the sessions in the podcast of the recap. That could be cool.

A Must Need For Every Campaign

First of all top of the line customer service. I personally have talked many times with ideas and suggestions and if there is ever a hiccup they first the problem ASAP. As for the functionality of this app it is amazing. The use of AI to generate recaps, make portraits, assign achievements, and design wiki’s is amazing. Also the AI podcast makes me feel as a DM like I am actually running a professional game. My players are so much more engaged now because they can’t wait to see what is said about their characters in the podcast. The achievements alone generate more excitement than I have ever seen from my players. So in conclusion do yourself a favor and get this app your players will thank you.

Wow! Impressed by this useful tool

This is an early review. I have used SessionKeeper twice so far. I used the trial / demo during a one-shot and once again during the session 0 of our Daggerheart campaign. I was impressed with how it picked up and summarized the chaotic brainstorming that we did during our session. Because the first session gives you the top tier features for free, the podcast summary was very intriguing and offered some extra view points and observations that I don’t not see originally. The automatic creation of the wiki was something as a GM will very much take advantage for my own notes.

The app is not without flaws though. It is still early in its release so it is expected. One player could not claim his profile. It was fixed by deleting the profile and having them start the process over again. Unfortunately it does not recognize Daggerheart ancestry and class names and comes up with weird misinterpretations of some of the words. For example the Fungril ancestry comes up as Fun-girl and thinks one of the player is a “Fun-girl”. A manual edit fixed this. But it does require some proofreading.

Overall I am impressed but like I said this is an early review. I may change my review as I use SessionKeeper more.

Amazing asset to my weekly DM prep

I don’t often get feedback from my players after a session. Did they laugh a litttle? Sure. Did we have fun? I think so.

SessionKeeper provides me direct feedback on player engagement and targeted suggestions to draw upon their specific skills to improve future play sessions in more honest ways than my players ever would. It’s a fantastic outside observer to our sessions above and beyond all of the great summaries and notes it offers.

No matter what your skill level as a DM you are, this will help you level-up your skills at the table.

Great for DMs and Players

I’ve been playing D&D for almost 40 years and I have to say I’m thoroughly impressed. This is amazing as both a DM and as a player. I also work in tech and with AI and I honestly didn’t know how well this would work, but the creator did an amazing job. Admittedly our 7-person crew has only used it once, but the session summary, wiki entries, character notes, and fun (and funny) character achievements it created were just great! This is now an indispensable tool for our game!

Fantastic DM tool

I am a DM in multiple games, and I work multiple jobs. Suffice to say, I have very little free time of my own. This tool has been invaluable to me. I struggle with writing a comprehensive but brief recap after sessions, and my players have never taken to writing it on my behalf (regardless of the in-game incentives). This tool does that and then some. I love the Character Profiles that track each PC’s development throughout the campaign. I LOVE the DM Feedback received after a session, this helps me identify what work and what doesn’t.

I can’t wait to see this tool become more user friendly and further developed but I already love it in its current state.

All hail Greg!
