What's New in Setz
1.6
October 10, 2026
The biggest update since launch: two new tabs, a smarter Progress screen and many fixes from real gym sessions. NEW: CHECK-IN • See your trend weight, a calm line that smooths out the daily swings from water and salt. • Choose cut, maintain or bulk. Setz works out your calories, protein, fat and carbs from your body, your daily steps and your training. • Check in once a week with your weight and front, side and back progress photos. The photos are stored only on your phone. • Compare your latest photos with any earlier week, and look back through your check-ins and weigh-ins. • Optional: connect Apple Health to read your weight and steps. NEW: MEAL PLAN • A week of simple meals sized to your calories and macros, with a photo of every meal. • Every meal uses a few everyday ingredients, and many take ten minutes or less. • Set calories per day or per week and move protein, fat and carbs with three simple sliders. • Eat a little more on training days, leave out meat, fish, dairy or eggs, and swap any meal with one tap. • A shopping list for the whole week. PROGRESS • The muscle map comes first: under, not hit, in range or over, so you know what to train next. • Lift charts with one clean line and your records, full screen with a tap. • Your strength trend, compare lifts, and the month at a glance in a calendar. LOGGING • Pick a goal for each workout: progress, maintain or deload. Setz sets up the rows for you. • Tell Setz how the workout felt, and the next goal is suggested for you. • A new finish screen with your records and a card to share. • The rest timer on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. • Log sets from your Apple Watch. • Save finished workouts to Apple Health. • Create your own exercises, swap an exercise for today only or for good, and edit your plan right from Today. • Start a past workout again, edit it or delete it. • Bring your history with you: import a CSV export from your old workout log. • Fixes: last time's sets always land in the right rows, a rare crash after swapping an exercise is gone, editing a past workout is safer, and long histories stay quick. ABOUT SETZ Setz is a simple workout tracker and gym log for weight lifting and strength training. Every set shows what you lifted last time, so progressive overload is easy: beat last session by one rep or a little more weight. Follow a ready-made routine or build your own plan, log sets and reps in seconds, and watch your progress in charts, records and the muscle map. Built for the gym floor: big numbers you can read between sets, ready-made routines from full body to upper/lower and push, pull, legs, kg or lb, warm-up sets, drop sets and bodyweight exercises, and more than 390 exercises with pictures and coaching cues. No account is needed, and your training history stays on your phone. Calories and macros are general estimates for healthy adults, not medical advice. Questions or ideas?
