Terrible
I’ve must have done the sign up form 10 times and I either can’t log in to my bank account for some reason and then it makes me restart the form from the beginning or I am able to log in with my bank and when it tells me to refresh the page it resets the entire form and I have to do it again anyways. I wan’t to say evil things but holy christ consider yourselves lucky the app store censors reviews with curse words.

I find the app easy to use and navigate. I can do remote check deposit transfers funds pay bills all through the app. Has features to block my card and get a new card if it’s lost or stolen and travel notes

Worst app ever - I’m leaving this bank
The app never remembers my password, even though it’s saved in my keychain on my iphone. Even when I put it in manually it doesn’t work 50% of the time (I get a notification that it is wrong, which I 100% know is incorrect!!!) and I end up locked out of my account. The work around is changing my password which I have done nearly weekly. I have been in touch with customer support so many times I have the direct line to a bank employee saved on my phone. They have not been able to help other than telling me to change my password yet again and telling me I should buy a brand new iPhone in case my phone is too old (i assure you that’s not the issue and what a ridiculous solution to offer!!) I am a millennial - this is not a lack of skill with technology. Zelle doesn’t cooperate with the app either - even though I enrolled in it and linked my SF Fire credit union account with my Zelle account, incoming transfers still go to my old bank account- with a big bank that starts with a B and ends with an A- so I have not been able to fully switch as I planned. I am living in limbo and now and shopping for another bank to move my money to. ZERO STARS. Very disappointed.

How do you Zelle
They list on their website that you can use Zelle through their app, that there’s a place to send a Zelle in the navigation bar, but it is not there. I cannot find where to Zelle in the app at all.
Zelle elusive
It was exciting when the credit union announced that members could use Zelle from sffcu. I updated to the latest version and suddenly all the instructions for using Zelle point to nothing visible in the app. My feedback in the app received no response. Finally I was able to cal customer service to learn that I had an international status on my account that made Zelle disappear.

Credit unions are generally better than banks, and this credit union is better than most credit unions.
1/1/26: Some automatic payments didn’t clear and I didn’t get a notice on my phone even though I’m set up for them and allow them.

Banking Made Simple
The app is easy to navigate and does exactly what I need. I can quickly check my balances, move money, and open new products without hunting around. Everything is laid out clearly so banking takes minutes. I can deposit checks, report my debit card lost and get another one reissued immediately. It’s solid, reliable, and simple to use.

SF FIRE CU has found a way to define trust, top tier customer service and easy steps to follow when using the mobile application. It’s everything you need under one roof. I have been a customer for at least 13 years and I only have good memories to share whenever I think about what they have provided for me and my family. They also have a program now where you can get paid to have friends and loved ones join on your recommendations.

Perfect banking app
I love the SF Fire Credit Union and their app works perfectly for me. I can deposit checks and check all my finances and details from wherever I am.
App is fine, deposit time is horrendous
It takes up to a week (sometimes more!) for electronic deposits to clear. Totally unacceptable in this day and a deal breaker for using this once fantastic credit union.
