Need lot of improvement
Not easy to access. Back button doesnโt take to last page๐
Not as claimed. Just another lame glossary.
The absence of any good Hindi-English dictionary in app form shows the utter disregard of Indians for their own language and their heading rush to speak only the language of the colonialists.
This one claims to โProvide a comprehensive language reference,โ but that is either a blatant lie or the authors donโt understand what one might be. A true dictionary should at the very east mark word function (noun, VI, VT, adj, etc) and a comprehensive one should list synonyms, antonyms, etymolical derivation and related words, and provide usage examples. A comprehensive electronic version should provide internal hyperlinks.
This one does not of the above.
At best, one could call this app a comprehensive glossary. But for someone who wants a true dictionary, a glossary - being a long list of related terma and synonyms - is often more a hindrance than a help.
A dictionary list meanings in order of a words primary and most prominent meanings, through to the most obscure. That way, one is certain of the main meaning of a term from the beginning. With a long glossary list like what appears on shabdakosh, one is just left confused.
The Oxford Hindi dictionary of McGregor is the only one Iโve seen that has the apparatus of a true dictionary. Why they donโt produce an app version Iโll never know, except for the above mentioned fact that so few Hindi speakers seem to really care for their own language.

Using it since past 5-6 years. Thank you as this is very effective and helps me a lot in my poem writing
Meaning of the word
Give the meaning of the word of the day rather than just an example sentence.
Fix this major bug!!!
I use this app so much and since updating my iOS there is a huge glitch that makes it unusable. When I click the search bar to type in another word, the page shifts up so the back button is no longer visible. The only way to get out is to close the app and refresh it and open it again. Very frustrating, please fix this.
